I'm curious, has anyone made a mod that causes who has the shotgun to carry over to the next round? As in, if they dealer shoots himself with a blank thats the last shell then when the shotgun is reloaded, the dealer gets first choice. You play for medalions, and there's multiple different "pools" with their own tricks, maps, and restrictions. The catch is they all have different entry costs, with some being only a few medalions and others being tens of thousands

It makes it a long ladder to climb safely, but if someone puts all their money in every time and win against other skilled players they can beat it in a short time-frame

yeah almost definitely you get to choose, the camera pans up when you grab the gun so you can see everyone, as opposed to the camera pointing at the table until you make your choice when playing against the dealer. with singleplayer it makes sense because the "YOU" and "DEALER" selections are on the table, but with more goobers it could be handy to take a look at everyone's HP before shooting

I think the loadouts are predetermined in story mode and the longer you survive, the more live shells you get, up to some maximum. But that might be how it works only until the final round.

In Double or Nothing you get 2-8 shells randomly, with half of them being live, rounded down.

i highly doubt it unless they brought buckshot roulette to epic games since they seem to be the kings of crossplay, but it's definitely not impossible. spelunky 2 has crossplay, for example, and is also a game where you can shoot your friends, and yourself, with a shotgun

He doesn't try to track shells in the normal mode, aside from knowing for certain what the final shell in the loadout is. Which can lead to situations in which it's obvious that only live rounds are left in the shotgun, but the Dealer still shoots himself.

In Double or Nothing he'll shoot himself if there are more blanks than lives left in the gun.

If the amounts are equal, he'll do a coinflip.

Played Double or Nothing, made a huge blunder. 2 blanks 1 live, I handcuffed Dealer and shot him the first two turns while I didn't know the live. Just the phone saying the last shell was blank.

Especially with him having an inverter and saw, it slipped my mind to self-shoot the first shot to make sure he wouldn't get the chance to use them.
