So I could shoot him on purpose with the blank, then let him coinflip. Because he doesn't know which shell it is, inverter doesn't really matter either - he can only guess.

mike decided to give the dealer a big smart brain to match his big ol smile
(the dealer's AI was improved dramatically, however it is only in double or nothing mode. he's identical to how he worked in prior versions when you're playing the story mode)

it took me around 8-9 tries (im assuming the number because i haven't got the overdose achievement yet) to even beat double or nothing

it feels like once dealer has handcuffs and there are still a lot of shells inside this man just won't let me play

and sometimes it feels he's spying on the info you get on the phone, like a few times i used a burner phone when a few bullets left and later that mf decided to change polarity to off me

-Story Mode-

1. Start turn
2. Use all items in the order he got them (since you can't see the order he got his items it might as well be random)
   2a. The dealer will not use his handsaw until he decides to shoot you, and he WILL use the handsaw if he decides to shoot you.
   2b. The dealer will not use cigarettes if he is at full HP
   2c. The dealer will not use the handcuffs if it is the last shell in the chamber.
   2d. If the dealer knows that the current shell in the chamber is a blank, and it is not the last shell in the chamber, the dealer will use a beer to eject it.
   2e. The dealer will not use a magnifying glass if he already knows the current shell in the chamber.
3. When the dealer is done using items, he will pick up the gun and choose who to shoot. The dealer only knows the current shell in the chamber if he used a magnifying glass this turn, or it is the last shell in the chamber.
   3a. If the dealer knows the current shell, he will choose appropriately (shoot himself if it's blank, you if it's live.)
   3b. If the dealer does NOT know the current shell, he will flip a coin to decide who to shoot. This means that if there are 2 lives and 0 blanks, there is a 50% chance the dealer chooses to shoot himself.

-Double or Nothing-
Since the game came out literally yesterday, we don't know the ins and outs of the dealer's new AI, but here's what I've noticed:
-If the dealer doesn't know the current round, he will make his decision based off of probability instead of a coin flip. He will no longer shoot himself if there are 2 lives and 0 blanks.
-The dealer doesn't save his inverters. If he thinks or knows the current shell is blank, he WILL use an inverter and try to shoot you. He also doesn't ever use inverters if he thinks the current shell is live.
-The dealer still isn't smart enough to know about using adrenaline to waste your item, even if it doesn't benefit him.

4 new items, steam achievements, in game leaderboard that tracks double or nothing scores (and a separate leaderboard to see who on your friends list has the best score), stats from across all your runs are also recorded, smarter dealer AI in double or nothing mode, and tons of language support

Don't feel like paying again? No worries! The new items and smarter dealer AI will be coming to the itch.io version on April 18th. The reason for the extra two weeks is because this update was largely built using the Steam API for stuff like the online leaderboards, so Mike essentially has to remove or recode those things to work without the Steam API.
Another side note, the game's price on itch.io will be raised to the same as the Steam price, per Steam's policies. If you already own the game on itch.io then that doesn't effect you, just something to know.

However, multiplayer will be added exclusively to the Steam version later this year, so if you want that you'll need to rebuy the game on Steam!
