Hello Farmers! As we focus on developing our next major update (more details coming in the next few months), we'll also be releasing minor improvements and addressing issues in the meantime.
What's coming next week
Snowmelt
Temperatures are slowly rising in the valley, and the remaining snow will soon melt away.
Animals will no longer need their cozy hats - the winter theme will be removed. Don't forget to open your event chests! They will disappear on Sunday (48 hours after the end of the Winter Wonderland event), even if they are still inside a bubble.
Sticker Album Event Scheduler
This change should have no impact on gameplay or players. However, we've introduced a new feature that automatically schedule the sticker album every 50 days, reducing the risk of human error.
New Loading Screen
Our cow has been chewing away for several years now, and we felt it was time to refresh the loading screen!
Our art team has finished a new design, and we're excited to release the first version next week. We hope you like it as much as we do!
Rebalancing of recipes/orders
As some players noticed (thanks to @dreamy sun and everyone else who turned it into memes 😄), a few recipes/orders had inconsistencies in the rewards they offered, especially the grilled bacon one 🥓. Our game design team has therefore rebalanced all recipes, which will now grant coins based on the quantity of required ingredients.
What's also coming very soon
Reddit notifications
We've addressed a few platform-specific issues and are now preparing a patch for Reddit. This update will restore the notifications for sticker raffles after fixing a few issues, and also fix the button in the voucher code pop-up that redirects players to the subreddit. 👽 🔔
Updated Feedback Feature - BetaHub
We've also partnered with BetaHub to improve the way we're gathering feedback from the community 📨
As you may know, Farm Merge Valley has always included an in-game feature that allows players to send feedback directly from the game. However, over time, this system has become increasingly difficult to manage, as the game is now available on 10 different platforms and we receive a very large volume of feedback. As a result, it was no longer possible to properly handle all feedback or reply to players.
We will therefore soon replace this feature by integrating BetaHub. Players will be able to report bugs, suggest new features, and create support tickets directly in the game. This update will be rolled out soon across all platforms, and we hope this will considerably improve our customer support!
Stay tuned, and have fun!
