CoolGames Publishing Community Rules and Policies

Hey Farmers, and welcome to the official Discord server of Farm Merge Valley where you can chat with fellow farmers, get helpful advice, and even find neighbors to visit! Whether you're looking for help or just want to share your farm’s progress, our community is ready to welcome you with open arms! 🤗

Your use of this Discord server managed by CoolGames Publishing (publisher of Farm Merge Valley) constitutes your agreement to these rules, which apply to all messages and discussions from textual, voice and forum channels, as well as usernames and avatars.

Infractions

1. 🚫 Spamming and/or Advertising

  • 1.1. You may not post excessive communications of the same phrase, similar phrases, or gibberish.
  • 1.2. You may not post content related to and/or discuss about sensitive topics including but not limited to comments or discussions of a religious, or political nature.
  • 1.3. You may not post server invitations or advertisements that have not been authorized by CoolGames Publishing.
  • 1.4. You may not send unsolicited private messages to other members from the server.
  • 1.5. You may not post content which advertises and/or promotes any website, social page, platform, or game, unless they are directly related to games published by CoolGames Publishing. Discussion of other games/activities is allowed, but calls for other players to play them are prohibited.
  • 1.6. When mentioning, referring and/or linking to other websites, you must ensure that the content of the mention, reference and/or link is appropriate for our community and in line with these guidelines.

2. 🚫 Flaming and/or Trolling

  • You may not post content which contains insults to other users or CoolGames Publishing Staff, are specifically made to create undue discontent, disturbances, pick fights or otherwise promote unfriendly conversation.

3. 🚫 Harassing Material

  • You may not post content which contains material that is repetitively insulting, defaming and/or otherwise harassing any other user, moderator, and/or any CoolGames Publishing employee.

4. 🚫 Obscene/Vulgar/Inappropriate Content

  • You may not post content which promotes and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, obscene, vulgar, inappropriate, otherwise objectionable material, pornography and/or extreme violence or sexual acts.
  • You may not post content and/or send private messages which contain profanity.
  • Remember, this also applies to verbal discussions, as well as usernames and avatars.

5. 🚫 Posting Private Correspondence

  • You may not post content that have been sent or received in private. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Private messages received from other members and CoolGames Publishing Staff.
  • Correspondence from our Customer Service or moderators.
  • Discussing disciplinary actions taken against any Discord or game account.

6. 🚫 Illegal Drugs and Other Illegal Activities

  • You may not post content that alludes to and/or promotes in any manner whether directly or indirectly, illegal drug use and/or other illegal activities.

7. 🚫 Real-Life Threats

  • You may not post content and/or send private messages that allude to and/or promote in any manner whether directly or indirectly, violence or threats against another user.
  • You may not post content which contains personal, real-life information such as home addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses or other personal information belonging to any person, including, without limitation, yourself.

8. 🚫 Posting Cheats, Hacks, Trojan Horses, or Malicious Programs

  • You may not post content and/or send private messages that allude to and/or promote in any manner whether directly or indirectly, cheats, hacks, cracks and/or malicious viruses/programs.

9. 🚫 Impersonating a CoolGames Publishing Employee or a Moderator

  • You may not post content and/or send private messages that allude to and/or contain content that in any manner whether directly or indirectly, attempt to impersonate a CoolGames Publishing employee or a moderator.

10. 🚫 Sales and Trading

  • You may not post content and/or send private messages which contain content about and/or promote, advertise and/or otherwise support, in any manner whether directly or indirectly, the purchase, sale and/or trade of any account, game items and/or other game asset for out of game assets.

11. 🚫 Circumventing a Suspension/Ban

  • You may not create or use another account to circumvent a suspension or ban.

12. ‼️ Additional Guidelines

  • 12.1. Keep all text in English in order to not cause any confusion. There are channels available in other languages, as well. Click on id:customize to select your language(s).
  • 12.2. Do not mention and/or send private messages to CoolGames Publishing employee. However, it is permitted to contact the Community Manager for all issues that are related to the community.
  • 12.3. Do not monopolize discussions, especially on voice channels by talking about off-topic things or other games. We want everyone to feel comfortable and not be left out.
  • 12.4. Report violations to @scenic mauve, do not quote them or reply to them. Responding to a violation in an inflammatory manner is a violation in itself and will result in appropriate action. It is also important to not abuse the Ticket system by excessively reporting messages, sending false alarms, or nonsensical messages. Abuse of the Ticket system can result in an infraction for spamming.
  • 12.5. CoolGames Publishing has the final say on all aspects of this community. If you have a problem, you may make a complaint to CoolGames Publishing directly through @scenic mauve or by sending a private message to the CoolGames Publishing Community Manager, and not publicly. Posting messages that question or reference administrative or moderator decisions is not permitted.
  • These Rules and Policies are subject to change at any time without notice.
  • 12.6. We also uphold Discord's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service as it extends to the entire platform.

In-Game Behavior Policies

If accounts are found in violation of our policies it may lead to disciplinary actions. This includes temporary suspension from the game or permanent account closure.

Community Moderators FrancineModerator

CoolGames Publishing makes use of Community Moderators to enforce these rules and policies. Members can apply to become a moderator and assist the CoolGames Publishing Community Team by filling out this form. Community Moderators are selected by members of the community team. Community Moderators are unpaid volunteers, and their views and opinions may not reflect the views and opinions of CoolGames Publishing. In addition, as Community Moderators are not employees of CoolGames Publishing, their service to their community may be discontinued at any time they choose, or may be discontinued by a member of the CoolGames Publishing Community Team at any time and for any reason.

Any content that violates our Rules and Policies will be removed by a Community Moderator within a reasonable period of time after CoolGames Publishing becomes aware of it. Interpretation and enforcement of the Rules and Policies is at the sole and exclusive discretion of CoolGames Publishing.

If you violate these Rules and Policies and/or show a disregard for them, CoolGames Publishing and/or our community, your privileges may be suspended or terminated.

Sanctions

  • Community Moderators may issue warnings when removing messages which violates the CoolGames Publishing Community Rules and Policies. Warnings serve as friendly reminder of these Community Rules and Policies and have no bearing on your account. As such, warnings may not be disputed, and will never be overturned.
  • Community Moderators may also impose other sanctions depending on the severity of the violation. It includes temporary or permanent mute and temporary or permanent ban from the server.
  • CoolGames Publishing Community Manager will review sanctions and has the final say. Community Manager may also impose sanctions in game. It includes warnings, removal of unfairly obtained items, temporary or permanent ban.
  • If you wish to dispute an infraction, you may file a ticket by sending a private message to @scenic mauve. A member of our Community Team, other than the individual who gave the infraction, will review your dispute and make a final call on the matter. You may also contact directly our Community Manager. Once a dispute has been reviewed and addressed, the issue will be considered closed and not subject to additional review.

How do I contact Support?

  • If you believe that another player is in violation of our Community Rules and Policies and/or Terms of Use, please submit a ticket by sending a private message to @scenic mauve.
  • You can also contact ModMail to report bugs that can be exploited or for some in-game inquiries, such as account reset, refund or some issues which require to be manually fixed. (Note: Bugs must first be reported in the dedicated section. The Community Manager, Moderators or Mentors will tell you if you need to contact @scenic mauve.)
  • When sending a report, please be sure to include as much of the following information as possible where applicable, such as a detailed summary of the situation, any screenshots you have of the situation and the exact usernames of people involved.
  • Please also note that if you are using @scenic mauve for the first time, you may have to verify/authorize the app before your ticket can be created. This is a required step because @scenic mauve needs to know which server you're on in order to select where to create the ticket.
  • Only CoolGames Publishing employee and Moderators have access to the tickets.

Please remember that CoolGames Publishing has the final say when it comes to interpreting our rules and policies to keep the community safe. List of server roles

  • CoolGames: Employees of CoolGames Publishing. Please do not mention them and/or contact them in private message, except the Community Manager for community-related issues.
  • **Moderators: **The Moderation team is a team of volunteer players who ensure that the rules are respected to maintain a constructive and healthy community. They also provide answers to other players, stimulate discussion, and assist the Community Manager. Please do not contact them in private message, but contact ModMail instead. Please only ping the moderators if there are some messages that need to be urgently removed.
  • Mentors: This role rewards players who help others and make significant contributions to the community. This role can be added or removed by the Moderators or the Community Manager. Mentors do not have access to @scenic mauve tickets. Mentors have access to a special channel where they can easily communicate with Moderators and the Community Manager. In some cases, Mentors can also assist Moderators by muting members who are violating our rules until a moderator can intervene.
  • Content Creators: Special role for streamers who share our game(s) with their audience. Please contact the Community Manager to get this role. Our partners are also subject to specific rules of conduct, and have access to a special channel where they can easily communicate with Moderators and the Community Manager.
  • **Role for Server Boosting: **Maggie’s Support. (Note: It is not necessary to boost our servers, but it’s up to you)
  • Level roles: All members can share a screenshot on the #🤠│roles channel to request a role and badge related to their in-game level. Note: These roles are necessary to unlock some permissions, such as the ability to send images and gifs everywhere on the server.
