Idk what level you are but my advice is:
• Collect the 1-star card. That way, you’ll get an increased amount of materials from your farm item without too much investment.
• Save up until you get the 3-star card.

• If you’re early into the game (like level 20 or earlier), just go ahead and only do 3-merges for cards. They still take too long and you can use your land for better stuff for sure

Everything in this game takes a long time. Use that to learn to not feed instant gratification. Practice patience.

Also, don’t ever buy boxes lol they’re the fastest regenerating thing in the game.

You can open chests in this game by collecting keys. Chests will always give you greenhouse parts, some amount of gems (diamonds), and some amount of energy. When gem pieces are put on your farm, merge them.

And in case you don’t already know, you can merge 5 to get 2 of something, so always merge 5 if you have space.

I reccomend doing bigger merges I always noticed the bigger the merge the more points I earn to my level

I think I’ve done up to a 15 item merge

And that made my level go from 3/4 to the next at least from what I remember

It depends on the other people who you visit, they can choose to turn it off and not receive the bot notification if they wish

I for one have never once received that notification

i just visited a bunch of friends who have level 1 farms and they all yelled at me cuz all of them had merge varm valley message them in a direct message warning them that they have rewards to claim so it makes me super uncomfortable

people who get direct messages on discord go out of their way to pick their phones up and go into discord to see who messaged them. then i get called out for being the reason it happened

I mean, For the most part they can see that you visited because of the resources they collect. I think it should be an opt-in feature but from their point of view. You're visiting there farm so why shouldn't they know? They would know later even without the notification

DM's are a very personal way to contact people. so for farm merge valley to just do that on behalf of me without my permission is really insane

this feature is in early testing so only handful of people got it, its random but everyone will get it after sometime.

Every active player who plays FMV would love to get a live notification for when other players visits their farm.
It is unfortunate that whomever this person was visiting which most likely are inactive players/friends does not like the new test feature.
In the end, nothing can be done but only hear out their frustration of the situation.

more seriously, they gave the permission to receive DMs from the app, and I believe they can disable them by blocking the app
they can also contact us if they would like to delete their accounts if they don't play the game

now imagine this was facebook or even a text message you receive on your phone. instead of just giving you a notification it literally messages you telling you in messenger/text, thats pretty insane, how about what if they started calling you on the phone to let you know? how far do they go before you see an issue with this? this is no different. what its doing is private messaging you on your discord messenger every time someone visits your farm is just really unhinged

Look, dude, you were given advice on what to tell people, it's no one else's fault but you're own for having crappy friends who don't understand how to turn off notifications for a game and are willing to just jump down your throat for continuing to play a game that they didn't want to continue playing. Congrats, that's Facebook, its a more social media page rather than an app literally used to communicate via messages. If they're getting messages from a game bot that they have rewards waiting for them from a game they no longer play, they can literally mute the bot

I'm very sure I got a pop up when I first started to authorize notifications and then it asked if I wished to join the server, so someone wasn't paying attention or clicked through too quickly

the issue at hand is the invasiveness of the game sending private messages to everyone just cuz someone visited their farm even if they are only level 1 without telling the person who visited that they will do this on their behalf and without their permission.

It's in the accepted terms of service, and they can choose to block or deauthorize the app themselves. That's up to them
