As a tamaki player myself, Mirio is not an issue, maybe tech but only because of his alpha.

Rapid alpha allows for easy grab, beta is dodgable on top of when he pops out the ground he’s easy to grab, his gamma is useless if you’re in the air, and his special doesnt hurt anyone.

Tech’s alpha just keeps him alive, the damage is ahh. Beta is cool but dodgeable. Gamma is annoying but also dodgeable.

1. Put on space hop, it’s peak

2. Try to never run out of alphas ever and shoot in bursts, always have atleast 2 if you need to no clip out and don’t ever spam shoot unless you have Nagant Tuning (it’s MUCH more efficient to move by 2 shot jump, 2 shot jump a continuous stream will just is not really faster, significantly more inefficient.) If you do run out of alphas I strongly recommend backing off. Remember you can be as close as you want to a target

3. You can sneak in alphas after a beta combo. Or a melee combo this can add over 100 damage for free

4. For gamma most of the time just use it off reaction like you see a move coming at you generally don’t go for raw gammas. At the end of day simply by the existence of gamma puts pressure on your opponents stopping from using certain moves you can also use this as a cover for your teammate. There are moves that gamma won’t trigger the counter but it should always give you Iframes/air stall, I think a list of those moves is on a certain website

5. For beta it can be a bit finicky to get the whole thing, but you should try to land all punches and let Mirio naturally finish. If you have someone don’t try moving Mirio around too much, and you can slow him a tiny bit by physically pulling back. This plus the alpha shots should lead to 250+ any time you land a good beta it’s your most lethal interaction

My level up path personally is B4, A9, B9, G9. Remember that you are the antithesis of everyone, no one can limit where you go let alone hit you, stay generally close to people the only moment you are truly vulnerable is when you’re coming out of beta. At the end of the day you are a top 10 character

Tech Mirio is a demon and INSANELY fun, when you get comfortable with him you won’t be disappointed

You do beta whenever you’re close to someone simple as that lol, I’d strongly be against doing it from mid range as it’s almost impossible to drive it into someone (unless they suck)

The main combos from what I do is sneaking alphas in after the third hit of his melee/when you beta slam someone. Most of the time especially on GP you’ll sneak in atleast 1 which is good

SpA reload is good but benefits mainly from aggressive gameplay, it’s a novice tuning though, there’s better ones for Technical slots

QFR lost quite a bit of it’s power when the new patch notes came out, it could still be useful though if you want to take advantage of an Assault slot

That’s beyond foul, especially now with the storm sickness Mirio can be one of the best storm warriors because he can dive in, stick a group heal and TP back, Rapid can do it with SnS tuning and Tech either with SnS tuning again or just his bare HP, 300 is more than enough

You need to be a little quicker, but most characters now because of storm sickness can no longer storm camp, so that leaves free reign over storm

The dangerous style, it has the most Strike slots out of any outfit and you usually want to run either twisted fortune + Space Hop (which is level 11 so that’s even better) or instead of twisted fortune revenge support or divine protection

It’s a good but at times inconsistent move, let alone I wouldn’t suggest trying to solely buff the beta when his alpha is his primary weapon

2 beta attack powers increase each invidual tick from about 3 to 4 i think

Beta isn’t something you should focus specifically on buffing, again, it’s not Tech Mirio’s main weapon, doesn’t work on a handful of the meta and a another handful of situations (since AOE covers the battlefield in this season). HP atk boosts Alpha, beta and gamma damage all at the same time, and at the same point an individual tuning would for each of them

Same applies for GP atk

The only other case I’d suggest something different is to buff the alpha to have even stronger shots

Especially since most people don’t land the alpha so often, each shot they land will hurt

It’s like telling an Assault Deku player to buff the beta instead of the alpha

The extra damage is nice, but it’s not what you should focus on, or what you’d like to pack more of a punch

A good laser of alphas from Tech Mirio can do INSANE damage, DP is non existent

2 at level 4 or 5 and you have yourself 100

Imagine level 9 with 3 alpha tunings

Rapid Mirio just requires lots of dedication and knowledge in order to be able to get KOs AND surviving. Because most focus on the second, which is his priority. You gotta learn how to initiate fights, but also how to work around them

Learn which fights you should chase and which you should avoid, slowly the more you play you’ll develop a good sense of which match ups are good for you and which ones you struggle against

After that it’s just combos! Melee combos, alpha combos, all of these little stuff you gotta learn them, but you also have to learn how to do them in a match!

So at the very core of it, Rapid Mirio requires experience, the more you play, gather tips and tricks you find along the way, the better you get!

For now just focus on survival, KOs and damage will gradually follow dw

He can be really good in 1v2 or even 1v3, because of his permeation and speed. Think of a Strike Shiggy, Cementos and Momo team. The only one that could possibly break these guys is Mirio, being able to move through the cannons, the decay and the buildings. Anyone else gets bombarded for even thinking about it

And I’m saying it because I’ve done it myself many times

1v1s at the same time depend on what character you’re facing and where you are

For example a 1v1 against Nagant at the bridge is beyond stupid for Mirio to win, but if you’re for example in UA? Then it’s a lot more manageable

It’s a shame but his assassination days are not so easy nowadays 😅

I used to be able to land games with 4k damage and 11 KOs, an assassin like you put it

Tech Denki shouldn’t be hard for you to approach with charged alpha and a good use of SA to avoid multiple hits. Once you get close they’ll either try to run or fight back, in the second case all you really have to watch out for is the alpha shotgun. But you can easily overtake it with an alpha combo, charged alpha or gamma

Traps can be destroyed with charged alpha/gamma or avoided with SA. What I do is make them track me, and then tap into SA so they get destroyed on the ground

Tech Dabi is another easy match up, the only thing you’re looking out for is the traps, so try using the charged alpha more frequently here. Even if he seems to be dodging, catching him during his beta and gamma animation will guarantee you enough hits

Especially if they try to alpha you

Both are easy match ups! Gotta learn your way around them is all

Mean while Tech Mirio’s alphas have a second reload per bullet, invincibility, no clip, amazing shot speed, very good damage, and can be utilized with things like space hop to add even more speed.

It might be the most multifunctional alpha in the game it does everything. I personally think you should never go to penalty, but at the end of the day you can special to your teammates any time

Plus the fact your enemies can’t use half their moves, you can widdle out their own gun like moves too.

And it can combo with melee/beta for 100 damage usually. Instant guard break if you land one of those 2 things it’s great.

It’s incredible with how many attacks and characters you can deal with if you tap in you SA at the right moments and then counter attacking catching them off guard

At the same time it can be good to let you go through buildings or walls in a certain way to escape. Or entering a spot which cannot be accessed from other doors or ways but just by your SA

It comes with experience yeah, but no one cares to try to build it up as a skill

Warp yourself to safety, shield teammates, support and more.
Also, you can warp to your down/dead allies to revive/pick up their badge

This is a video that helped me out quite a bit when I was just starting to play Lemillion and taking the game seriously in ranked.

If I remember correctly, there are some combos that he mentions in the video. Otherwise, my only real advice would be just to do what you can pull off consistently. I’ve never been a fan of big, long flashy combos cuz I can never land it.

I’d assume it’s just ping. Personally, if it doesn’t work for me (just mashing M1) I prefer to click it right before the end of the short alpha animation so that it refreshes and keeps the combo going until the POWER pose. That sometimes helps for me

cd mangement build if u want to kinda lower the cd for ur moves and u can do good dmg go for lady nagant tunning with yafo tunning
support dbs tunning my personal fav i use divine protection to get levels revives with perception to find enemies if i hit them
this way u can clutch matches easily and u can be support and dps at the same time

I've seen ppl emote, or intentionally heal infront of the enemy to bait them to activate your counter

From what I've heard don't use all your alpha ammo at once and don't spam gamma

Use it when you're in bad situations like you're stuck in a room with a full team or aoe slop being thrown at ya

I made an essay end of last month let me resend it

1. Put on space hop, it’s peak

2. Try to never run out of alphas ever and shoot in bursts, always have atleast 2 if you need to no clip out and don’t ever spam shoot unless you have Nagant Tuning (it’s MUCH more efficient to move by 2 shot jump, 2 shot jump a continuous stream will just is not really faster, significantly more inefficient.) If you do run out of alphas I strongly recommend backing off. Remember you can be as close as you want to a target

3. You can sneak in alphas after a beta combo. Or a melee combo this can add over 100 damage for free

4. For gamma most of the time just use it off reaction like you see a move coming at you generally don’t go for raw gammas. At the end of day simply by the existence of gamma puts pressure on your opponents stopping from using certain moves you can also use this as a cover for your teammate. There are moves that gamma won’t trigger the counter but it should always give you Iframes/air stall, I think a list of those moves is on a certain website

5. For beta it can be a bit finicky to get the whole thing, but you should try to land all punches and let Mirio naturally finish. If you have someone don’t try moving Mirio around too much, and you can slow him a tiny bit by physically pulling back. This plus the alpha shots should lead to 250+ any time you land a good beta it’s your most lethal interaction

My level up path personally is B4, A9, B9, G9. Remember that you are the antithesis of everyone, no one can limit where you go let alone hit you, stay generally close to people the only moment you are truly vulnerable is when you’re coming out of beta. At the end of the day you are a top 10 character

But also depends on what kind of playstyle you’re going for

If you wanna play more aggressive can go for annihilation / purple toga tuning or annihilation / Fixer

Rapid Mirio is by all means a character that should chase a lot, that’s how he confirms KOs and takes care of troublesome characters/players. Aaaand at the end of the day most people disregard him as an easy to read and counter character (which he is!) so I don’t see your problem

in my honest opinion, the only time you can hit him is if he lets you by making a mistake
his counter has a 3 second cooldown if he whiffs (number might be slightly off) and a 0 second cooldown if he lands it
you cant hit him during his alpha either

the only time you can hit him is at the end of his beta or by making it look like you're trying to shoot them and baiting out their counter so you can pelt them

He is an extremely unfair character to go up against

besides that he can also instantly teleport to his teammates

you realistically arent landing a hit on a tech mirio who is properly managing his alpha cooldowns

What's the ideal PUR costume for a good Rapid Mirio build? Currently, I'm using the base outfit and my Special Tunings are Revenge Support and HP Sucker

Festival default outfit is his best one imo

Red and blue slot so you can run both willpower and acceleration on him

Willpower is good due to you being able to get out of danger at 1 HP either with beta or by teleporting to a teammate/using special action

Acceleration opens higher damaging combo routes for rapid mirio. To activate acceleration either go fpr his air melee due to less end lag or close the distance on someone with alpha and then melee them OR use his special action to dodge an attack from the enemy then melee him.

I'm suggesting acceleration on the basis that you are able to land the power combo for him (since it is ping dependent)

I don't know the combo routes for acceleration myself, but try and see if you can find them on reddit or youtube

@tropic cedar if you're aware of rapid mirio's acceleration combos let this guy know whenever you can! (Also sorry for the ping)

I know Accel activates when you use your melee, but all of Lemillion's attacks are "melee" based, does Acceleration activate from SPECIFICALLY using your melee key and not your quirk skills or does it activate from any melee attack including your quirk skill?

It doesnt activate from mirio's alpha or beta

Same applies for any melee quirk skills

Assault kirishima can't activate acceleration from his alpha, beta or gamma despite them all being melee quirk skills

Though personally (and this is just for my playstyle) id prefer a costume with a hero support special tuning and a hero rapid special tuning so I could use Revenge Support from Cementoss and Acceleration from One For All Deku

But again, like I said, run whatever works for you. My playstyle is incredibly aggressive so i run tunings that help me to stay alive and deal damage. That's why i run Revenge Support and HP Sucker

My favorite combo has been quirk factor release/quick reload on rapid Mirio. It feels like it enables another kind of aggressive play style besides the ones from accel/willpower but can definitely feel too much like a glass cannon at times.

The play they made is the correct one, Yafo’s skill comes out very fast & is a hard knockdown. Holding gamma which they were already doing & possibly reflecting it back at him makes the most sense.

They still had enough charge to do it again if they wanted to & also had the option to engage & get closer to them meaning it will recharge at the same time.

Honestly it’s better cooldown management than going for a roll that might fail & leave you in a worse position

They had enough gamma to use it again if they wanted to, which gave them the option to either chase Yafo or reuse gamma defensively & they chose to chase Yafo

The gamma recharges overtime

So as they applied pressure to YAFO it was charging during that exchange anyway

Wouldn’t try it since the gap between YAFO’s gamma shots are short. Also, it’s a knockdown type. I have to contest against him. Another things are teammates, reflected shots, abilities cooldown and more.

Would rather hold gamma longer and bait him for huge continuous aoe shot to escape. (Beta or SpA)

Only time I will tap gamma if I want to hurt them or back off.

Honestly, when playing against a YAFO and they hold their gamma like that just break line of sight and use a charged alpha to fly away! That way they’ll be forced to drop it and you’ll be able to turn around mid air and catch them off guard with a combo!

It’s what we call “fake disengaging” and it works awfully well if you do it correctly!

Ofc here it probably wouldn’t work since the YAFO was a newbie and just panicking

But keep it in mind for a next time!
