If they’re not too far from the ground I can do the alpha combo and ground them. After that I just keep it close and personal and then chasing them is easy. If they’re already on the ground just a quick SA into alpha! Snipers don’t do so hot when you get close to them

It's still best to max A. Even if you aim is bad, A still provides exponential amounts of survivability and repositioning ability.

Makes sense, he’s a lot harder than Rapid..!

For starters you want to get better with aiming and using the alpha, I’d suggest taking off Space Hop if you have it on and stick to doing grounded shots for now until you get a better hand on it. In addition, try tapping the alpha instead of mashing it, as if it’s a normal projectile (Assault Deku for example) and slowly add more movement and speed to your gameplay

Be tricky with your play style. Always switch your patterns in order to not only confuse your opponent and get better combinations in, but also to get better counters. If you stick to something like spam alpha-beta-gamma you’ll get predicted and die. Switch up the turn of these 3 every time, provoke them to attack you mindlessly and then counter

There’s not many combos but for starters you could do:

-Full melee combo-2x alpha

-Beta-1-2alpha

-M1-M2-M1-M2- beta instant slam

Hopefully that covers it! If you need anything else don’t hesitate to ask

his biggest strength is the mind games

you play on your opponent

if they try to predict your counter switch up the timing

keep them guessing

and use the iframes on every move to your advantage

If you have the Festival outfit use the Dangerous style with Revenge Support or Divine Protection + Space Hop. It has many strike slots and is undoubtedly one of his best tunings. If you have his casual fit then go ahead and use original style with Revenge Technical or Hyper Regeneration + Space Hop

Avoid spamming beta to disengage unless you can get to a safe spot where you either won’t be found or will be able to immediately alpha away. Teleport is also your best repositioning tool when your team isn’t fighting (or is alive hahaha 🤣)

Avoid flying into the sky with the alpha and try going through buildings to throw your opponents off

Special action isn’t ping based, probably just a bug? Make sure you have at least 25% as well before doing it. And if you don’t mind send a clip of you trying to do it but failing. The principle is simple you just aim towards your teammates like you said and then press the special action activation button! You’ll know it’s gonna work when on top of your teammates the instruction appears as well for you to press the button and teleport

Mirio is in a great state right now especially with his HP back to normal, and with the variety of tunings that suit all play styles he can be useful as both an incredible support or a nuisance of a front-liner due to the amounts of pressure he can put

Since you mention HP I suggest you run the Cyber Hero dangerous style with fixer and Wallrunner/acceleration. it gives you well over 275 HP 🙌

Now if you wanna take advantage of Star’s tuning instead you want to run something like Cyber hero heat style with Star’s tuning and maybe something like regeneration or HP sucker to truly master zone fights. Due to storm surge you will also be able to run in there and heal up since less people are storm camping and you can also chase people who even choose to do it

First of all you ALWAYS max alpha first, you lose many considerable buffs level 9 gives you if you sit at 7, after that it depends on what you favour the most. If you like using beta then go for B-9 and then G-9, and vice versa if you prefer gamma

2. you can time it for their air recovery for dealing ~150 damage.
3. With tuning to help a cooldown/card use: launch yourself (ON THE GROUND) into air. (Track or hunt)
4. Maybe try to make your opponents chase after you and catch crossfire by others.

I’m trying to unlock a 2nd special tuning but I can’t right now cuz the only options for special tunings are characters I don’t have

Unfortunately I only started caring a lot about playing competitively and tuning selections after I chose my hot picks, so the only one with a tuning I actually want is OFA Deku

I chose Alt Endeavor, Gatling All Might, Armored All Might, Slicing Wind Hawks, OFA Deku, Lady Nagant and Tsukoyomi for my hot picks. I ended up getting Nagant from a normal roll

Ah, for now: use YAFO/Mt.Lady for assault if you are struggling.
Tech: cooldown related or hyper regeneration. (Never touch AFO) Aizawa is still great
Rapid: don’t know and don’t care. Barely use it. AM is nice niche. Iida, Ochaco, Bakugo
Striker: least used tuning. Think Suneater or Hawks are his best bet.
Support: Cementoss or Ibara.

Try to tap your shots for starters instead of spamming it. Treat his alpha as if you’re using Assaault Deku, don’t use the permeation dash so much

Slowly as you get better, add more movement

Even better, try to use his alpha as if it’s Denki’s. Just aim your shots without much movement. Slowly you’ll add more movement as you get better at aiming it, it might even happen naturally

Tech Mirio has 2 ways to play around. Either be a menace to everyone and switch targets very fast, stacking up damage while also making yourself hard to track and catch, or, you tunnel vision, pressure 1 person at a time on 1v1s and keep them from escaping guaranteeing yourself a KO. You can’t always do the second one because Tech Mirio is easy to outpace, but there’s a good number of characters that cannot stand a good pressure game from you either

Ofc if you want the second one you’ll have to get really good at landing the alpha

Hahaha, I mean, Tech Mirio isn’t much of a team player. More of a full on DPS, you focus on doing damage and isolating opponents so your team can jump them or have a chance to flea
