yeah its pretty much exactly that, they made it way harder to start with the alpha cancel as damage so I'm figuring that goes for walls as well. you mainly have to start with aerial beta for it to be easier

ground beta walking of the edge into instant aerial beta is still a thing tho

that feels really weird but they told other characters to deal with it sooooo we are stuck with it

unless you know the exact distance it just wastes the ground beta without it even freakin ever showing up

I tested deku in training earlier, didn't notice anything new besides the fajin on his arm when getting overdrive which is kinda nerf (let's opponents know what gear he is on)

As for alpha they made it more fluent with the jump changes

Well sounds like you spammed recovery instead of taking full knockback onto the ground. That's a big nono most of the time, most characters can punish that. If you got a super armor move that helps you, but honestly just fall to the ground and dodge their attack into your own counter attack

When you are on shield ofc it will force the recovery but the iframes still give you plenty of time to hit the ground into a dodge. Then you can go from there, decide if you counter attack or run if their team shows up

honestly overhaul has a pretty solid melee, you gotta catch them during the end lag with a melee. that would have a better chance of hitting since both overhauls have at least a slight windup for their gamma.

I will say its a bit of a prediction game as well, but thats how most things are. Ya gotta predict their next move and dodge accordingly. Something that will help is use your movement stick to direct your melee

So you don't have to waste time centering your camera on them

She is a character who can instantly revive a teammate every 40 seconds with good mobility and utility. She could sit behind in fights spamming team heals while invisible until someone goes down and then she can revive them and run away before the enemy team can do anything to her

Her hit box is also small especially since she's crouching a lot of the time because of how she runs

She's not fun in any way to have on the enemy team

Which is why people want her out of the game when they see her

Other instant revivers deal with the same thing but I imagine frogs get targeted the most

But the frog gets deleted in a few seconds with a lot of combos in the game, Tsuyu needs skill to be played correctly, people complaining need to understand that

When it comes to how the costume looks 100% kunoichi (even has some solid builds), idol fit has some really good tunings tho. Heres a few mixed builds that try to draw a good balance between attack and support by using reinforced revive.

This is my favorite build all around for combat frog

More for when I can't rely on solo queue tm8s being able to utilize reinforced revive effectively and need to pick up the combat myself and protect them instead

Before this season froppy and other characters had to jump and then wait a but for their character to leave the ground completely to use their air versions of the quirk skill

It was so much epic

I was against a tech Mirio, a Nagant and a strike Shoto

I managed to kill Shoto and Nagant, and hide from the Mirio to revive my allies

I literally dodged every attacks and they didn't manage to touch me, but Tsuyu has so few HP that if I got hit one time I was dead (especially with Nagant who can nearly one short Froppy at full health and shield with her special action)

I understand people’s argument that she’s “easy to play” and “simple” like sure man it’s not hard to alpha and beta twice as a combo, but it’s definitely about your ability to use your movement to dodge attacks, because like T0 said you can literally take 1 combo from any character and your health is gone. They call it annoying but Froppy HAS to play like a fly to chip away at your health

Ngl I would be so happy if they removed the little bit of beta tracking tsu has. It's a bit better than it used to be when they first added it but my lord it's been a nightmare trying to work with the tracking after creating muscle memory of the lead when she had no tracking because it caused the tracking to freak out. I'm just very against tracking in general tho. I don't mind a minimal amount to aid more casual players but this game takes it too far then multiplies it by 100.

Tho I also would be happy if they just added an option to disable tracking on abilities that can work without it.

I remember when she didn’t have the tracking on her beta, I wouldn’t mind if they removed it either sometimes I’ll expect the tracking to work and I end up throwing an air beta the opposite of where the person is. If it was removed would just be forced to face your stick the right way which isn’t bad necessarily

You can angle the beta to hit upward by looking up, maybe your crosshair is high enough for it to consider you trying to angle the beta

Froppy excels at 1v1s, even certain 1v2 match ups. 1v3s is where it gets tricky, simply because of her health and lower single attack damage output. Kinda have to chase for downs as Froppy, someone is gonna run once their health is low most of the time

The cards don't stack if that's what you're asking. It's better to have a support (green) card on reserve if you need to run but that's slightly situational

It’s interesting how everyone has different opinions because I find the support cards to be the most useless unless you have revenge support or hyper regen and strike cards to be most effective, I read someone say cards don’t stack in effect and that’s not true they do, I like to have out 2 strike cards or 2 assault cards out at most times, if you have a crazy fixer build, combo that and that’s another 20% attack power, or sisterly disposition/revenge assault and combo with cards extra 40% defense

Yeah your alphas are there for chip damage and setting up double beta combos in my opinion, personally when I’m fighting I try to get off more than 1 alpha before going into a beta, that’ll also help for people that can time roll her beta more than they can her alpha

Everyone does have a different playstyle though, I’m pretty alpha forward with most characters I use

Maybe like 5-6 seasons ago but I can still infinitely alpha around in the air with a little reload management. I'm a day 1 Tsu main but I also want my characters to be pretty well balanced (which don't get me wrong Tsu is basically there.) But having infinite movement is not balanced.

Even if its just barely infinite and kinda hard to do

at level 9 tho its easily infinite ofc

focus on learning combos - the obvious alpha-beta-beta is good enough but repeating makes it too easy to dogde, try mixing your attacks and reading your opponents movement
And work on movement, it is what makes her fun to play... overall it will depend on if you play her more aggressive or supportive...

That works out as I tend to go for aggression myself more often. When I go into aggression mode, I like the scout out the situation first. When I'm doing this I'm noting who might be the biggest problem to my team, looking for those more fluent with combos. Looking to see who they might be trying to back up. If my tm8s are the first to get into a fight I'll analyze who they are fighting and focus the biggest threat. The biggest threat can change a lot during a match, some strike kiri could be going crazy with combos being the current biggest threat but once you scare him away someone else can easily take that spot from him if you aren't careful.

When attacking I prefer to generally have the high ground if needed, if possible I go in with invisibility while mid air right before I drop in. Keeping height advantage as much as I can gives me a good view on the situation at all times. Awareness is one of the most important aspects of this game. Being able to look at a situation take in information quickly, deciding what approach to take and then executing it while staying aware of nearly everyone around you and doing so quickly helps so much. The problem with that is there are many different situations to be ready for, and you have to be able to adapt on the fly to be prepared for them. Really all that requires is lots of combat experience, knowing how each character and the players skill level can affect the flow of battle. Pay attention to the people you are fighting and jump on their mistakes, possibly even forcing them to make said mistakes.

Use your gamma a lot, I use it to even fine tune the smallest adjustment to my movement alphas. You probably know this already but our gamma can be used to cancel out vertical momentum from an alpha almost instantly

When an enemy dodges my beta or alpha I immediately just try to alpha onto any object and reposition myself to try again. Sometimes with camouflage

I play a pretty stealthy aggressive froppy because I don’t like to hit and run or use underhanded tactics to win matches

Other people however.. they don’t care and play however gets them the win so that’s the difference between me and other players in MHUR

they were hella toxic for learning how to use half the kit theyre given
