No need for a lot of damage slots, two or three is fine
Better yet if one or two of them is buffed by fixer
Alpha damage becomes fine at 80 damage, great at 85 and excellent at 90+
And this does not includes strike buffs from team members, and does not includes debuffs from assault opponents
If it does, becomes harder to scale damage
Since tech shoto has slower fire rate compared to strike, space hop doesn’t become as strong
So id heavily recommend wall runner instead 🫡
It can be quite overwhelming cuz of the alpha size and you can't tell where shoto is

After the 4 th Melee thy freeze but I try hitting a melee into beta or alpha but it doesn't work

it happens, if you do it too fast, you're not in reach to hit the first one, rather than second
missing the first can help with down power ( less hits = less down power = more combo possibilities )
but if you miss it, it means the opponent has breathing room to escape, dodge or attack back

there is a lot from learn, i'd recommend watching clips, asking for advice, at start, a lot of characters has visuals to confuse, so like i said, it will take a while to get used to it
Afo is my favorite to be honest it's just so hard to position him
Its so tedious sometimes to trigger the beta explosion in the middle of a fight for tech
Sometimes i quickly jump and tap aim quickly but it doesn’t trigger

It sucks because by the time you go over to trigger it again the enemy already knows and escapes

walk canceling or short term for animation canceling
it means you gotta move your movement input while doing any animation
that will make your character move faster of that animation instead of rendering all of it if you stood still
gotta test many and many skills to understand clearly
if you do a beta and stand still then spam alpha, that will take a while to let shoto do his alpha
but if you do beta, hold any movement input ( any direction ) then pressing alpha
you gonna see it pressed way faster than before
combos like this are allowed because of it
you can't see me moving at all after pressing beta, but the directional input was being pressed, so equals faster animation recovery

Why not put Endeavour in All Might's slot?
Fixer doubles the slot effectiveness, which its stronger than level 4 slots
From level 3 with fixer goes to 6, which is stronger than just putting on level 4 slots
In my case, I would put Overhaul Yellow in Endeavour's slot and replace All Might with him. I've consistently noticed that players are healed quickly by their teammates.
It can work in case you don’t have assault endeavor, but HP defense has been proven better than separated skills defense, which makes sense, since tanking on HP against all attacks is better than protected against specific skills
And both does have GP attack power, which there is no reason to switch
That makes two HP defense tunes
That’s 3-4 less damage on HP against most skills in the game
Short number
But big on the paper
It does makes difference in longer terms
Some say that stacking HP defense can even help against storm

But I’d still prefer HP Defense over unique defense tunes

Fixer buffs a lot of good slots
There’s also alpha ver default but there is a villain support slot which is not optimal
No wall runner means less mobility and map pressure

just play around your gammas and make sure the explosions are well planned, don't throw it all randomly, think ahead with each one, like catching people on wake up or forcing heal/animation cancels
even on open areas, playing behind your gammas is the best option

and strike is becoming what i didn't wish to see
they nerfed my close wall gamma
now i main both due to how boring strike playstyle has become
before the changes there was a lot of melee combos with alpha resets, now you're forced to drop mid combo for a beta burst
At least he hassss combo potential

first one no doubt, kung fu will be his number one due to how easy fixer stacks his alpha dmg

yes and no
undef gives 82 to 88 dmg on alpha level 9, up to 92/101 on triple strike
king fu does 92 to 96 on alpha level 9, stronger on GP since it buffs GP DMG, up to 105/112 on triple strike
and since both skins already have rapid bakugo that does increase gamma dmg so that's a no
it's a technical so it can give more gamma dmg but not a big deal in comparision
up from 1-2 dmg points
each gamma tune
if you place on kung fu, that's two gamma tunes buffed by fixer, but you lose alpha dmg 🤔
I just wanted to ask here because I have the undefeated fit fully maxed out and I recently got the kung fu fit I was interested in what would even be better because you’d have more gamma power with your alpha power at the same time
well, kung fu does have more alpha damage, so that depends on your preferences 🙏

How long has this character been in the game and his gamma it getting stuck on one pixel inclines on some map, its costed me a few games already and a bit frustrating

you can see like if there's any TINY rise in the map's structure, todoroki's travel just gets stuck
big problem since it can get you killed
oh yeah been getting that a lot, never realized it was a bug, before they changed the gamma for staying on slides that used to cancel your slide, now it just stops you on the air
that's a sign to jump after the gamma slide

Thinking about adding a “balanced path”, including a4-y4-b4 then a9, not too similar to Beamer path, but also a option for indecisive players
Sounds good, Beamer path’s my favorite cuz of how much dmg my alpha does with my tuning, I’m also pretty decent at aiming it.
Also mine, kung fu with fixer doing 96 dmg its always been the best option for shoto
But sometimes I do balanced pathing, in case of lack of cards
Having more hitbox on beta save sometimes
mine does 89 on gp and 88 on hp, it might just not be the most optimal mini tunes for it then. only one I know can be better is changing all might for assault overhaul, but does that really push it from 89 to 95
If you manage assault endy on all might’s slot you get hp defense and 95+ alpha dmg both buffed by fixer
I recommend it more than overhaul since it buffs HP overall’s defense
Always better than single skills defense

If you don’t have assault endy, then yes, I thought you meant the comparison between the two
But I mean if you had to choose between overhaul and endeavor, choose the one you have memories cards for, in this case I’ll assume it is overhaul
But always prioritize slots below fixer on future tunes

He is literally only skill set with no movement
nah, he's broken enough tbh. Alpha hitbox is massive while doing good damage, beta can hit through walls and block projectiles, and gamma does massive damage while also erasing anything that comes into contact

wouldn't make much sense unless he takes a bit of self damage for doing that, blowing yourself up to propel you should hurt

Does it matter where you shoot your ice pillar? I've seen tip explode instead of base
yup, that changes where you want the explosion to hit, same for range
if you aim upwards, the range is set going upwards, same for other directions

the crazy down power from his alpha keeps flyers grounded, you can use gamma for cover out in the open, aoe properties from alpha keeps melee characters in check as well
only thing is if youre playing against anyone who actually knows what theyre doing, beta is explosion like the easiest thing to roll in game

depends which skins you have
I have 2 pur skins - hero custome alpha and cyber hero custome
cyberhero is your pick then, dangerous version is one of his best choices
you can go with fixer to buff two gamma tunes (damage and reload ) and two alpha tunes, while the other slots are flexible as well
and he can run wall runner 11, so more perk points
high speed rep also works, he can heal mid fight between his gammas
you just lose a bit of damage without fixer tho
I'm kinda a newbie in this game and in this tutorial, they said that i can put unimportant char data in normal tunning slot. So that means I should only focus on the special tunning and make sure the characters in normal tunning don't match with the one i put on the special tunning, right? I just want to make sure and not to lose materials in the early game since I don't have a lot 🫣

those are the special tunes on the bigger slots, the reason they are there is because the effects are really bad
Strike Shoto's denies burning effects, no effect since there are only 7 burning characters on the game, both shotos, both endeavors, both dabis and armored all might, and the effect is not worth it compared to really useful ones
the same goes for the tech shoto, denies freezing
useful against who? strike and tech shoto, and armored all might
even worse 😭
kaminari denies lightning, more useful than others because there is a tunning that eletrifies opponents, but still bad
tsuyu applies camouflage, not useful but not bad compared to above
i could mention others, but those are bad for now, no reason to use them
and answering your question, yes, you cannot use the same "character" on same slots
which means if you gonna put strike bakugo below or above, he will stay here, cannot be two slots
doesn't affect skills sets, so you can have strike bakugo's, tech and rapid on the same build

Both are gonna use alpha attack power for tunning, beta reload is kinda useless but it requires both twice and toga on rapid slots
Strike dominates with his alpha and gamma, while tech will enjoy alpha damage, since it buffs his explosion damage
About the order, you can go b7 to get the max beta range, then a9 to maximize the explosion damage
Gamma works at all levels so that’s the last one you need to worry about

beta hitbox duration was drastically reduced on the end part
it used to be crazy good for reading wakeups
Not exactly that bad since you can still force a different timing on wakeups
If they roll you can hit alpha on last dodge timings

sometimes ppl can move through it and get 1 tick, and sometimes they get knockdowned and like 120 dmg
i suppose best is to be able to throw like 2 rows of it w some delay but they should be stupid enough to still follow you

if you mean on down state then yes, it basically instantly deletes them, but on HP/GP it only hits up to 120/130 and knocks them because of his high down power
the optimal way is to still throw one and play behind it, when that one is over, use the other one
never two on a row because you need to respect the reload
only throw two when you need throw resourse to save time or escape situations
but believe me, throwing one and respecting its reload, you never run out of it
one gamma lasts for 1.5 seconds less than its original reload, you wait that time, enough for a second one to recharge, basically infinite with quirk factor release
yeah, truthfully i was just trying to use him in acb, i suck at him so it's not easy. plus there i can use other chars like tech toga and yafo for better results, so i didnt really get big cost for my mistakes
he still one of the best characters on the game in the right hands, hit hitboxes, extremely solid reloads, good damage, only the lack of mobility that destroys sometimes, but fixable with wall runner/space hop
just the fact that his gamma saves a ton of time, he's basically invencible behind that

space hop is great on beamers in general so it wouldn't be bad on strike shoto
but i still think mobility wise wall runner is just better
Works perfectly on both shotos too, but that will depend on which skins you have
Kung fu villain, parallel dangerous, casual default, cyber hero villain
Sacrificing wall runner for space hop is not 100% worth it, but casual style (default) has both wall runner and space hop, so you can try that just in case

you can try building Default version for wall runner and revenge support or dangerous for embrittlement and space hop
they both have awesome passives
you can try parallel villain style too, since it haves both wall runner and space hop in case you wanna have a mix

Kinda hard to read, but if I’m seeing correctly, switch both betas with HP DMG+, this way you can deal extra damage with all skills instead of focusing on beta
One alpha and one GP can do the trick, beta doesn’t need all the damage if you focus on alpha/gamma bursts
Overall, I’d give a 8/10

and of course, beta7 for the max range
and another thing, for those who don't know, his alpha reach the max charges (8) on level 7 as well, so you don't need to rush 9, only for damage
exactly why i pref level 9 gamma … i think it all depends on map and play style i guess. you could end w/ a very open circle or just caught outside in the middle and short flame pillars would do nothing against flyers or chars w/ space hop

so how do you use his skill correcttly?
He’s a technical character, which means you gotta manage his cooldowns, first of all
Second of all, his skills needs it’s timing and pressure value, you throw one gamma and pressure forward, the gamma protects you, and your alpha has a pretty high hitbox, so little window to miss, plus all the times they will take 5 seconds to reload each charge, so never throw 2 randomly, only one per rush and make sure to get its value before throwing another one
When using his beta, you have no problem to use on the open and outside indoors, but if you do that, make sure you want to catch opponents on wakeups, that’s always forcing a dodge from them, that’s where your alpha punish comes in clutch, that’s pretty much guaranteed hit, let alphas reload before spamming all of them
You can also force gammas close to walls so they move little to none, you can heal a tiny gp/hp item inside them before they disappear
Same with your betas, use one aiming upwards, so they work as walls, blocking vision, creating a wall to force gammas move towards you, and even serve as a ramp to wall runner jumps
Your safety matters as much how aggressive your playstyle is
That’s the difference of tech plays compared to strike
Now that both have 350 HP, this is a difference between burst damage and fast pace to slow, patient and safe gameplay
That’s why I tell people that he’s not a entirely indoors character, he can easily play outdoors by playing inside gammas and using his beta like a pierce skill
Only mirio, ibara and tech shiggy can punish his approach efficiently, since they can hit through his gammas
His only flaw is his lack of movement, which is partially covered by using wall runner, otherwise you’re always dominating the field 💀
You don’t need high burst dps if you’re practically immune to damage

been trying to play him properly but sometimes randomly my aimed alpha breaks my beta instead exploding it
No idea ngl, except try to base your beta on more ground, so its spikey ices near base of the pillar remain existing
if you place one on top of another, or in case you place on a slight higher terrain
this season his beta is bugged, so expect most walls to just disappear instead of explode
sometimes they break and do explode, it's weird but that's how it is rn
respect the range
respect the range and try forcing both, he's a close range character even though he relies on alpha pokes from afar
he's extremely easy to pressure if you force his skills early
that's why he's a oportunist beamer
without any good opportunity, he's not a Meta character that leaves all fights and always wins them 💀
he's like a strike denki that enjoys high damage outputs and insta damaging combos
but lacks mobility efficiency, even with wall runner he cannot escape efficient pressure, and he's one of the worst matchups in the game if he's facing armor, his beta and gamma will not go through it
he trades damage, but always loses it if not played right
I’d say he’s pretty reliable to just rely on the beams and gamma to be honest

Tech shoto doesn’t have many combos as strike does, mostly includes freezing and beta afterwards
Ur saying it’s mostly exploding the ice and spam
And for leveling order, you can try those
a4 - b7 - y4 - a9 for alpha explosion damage and consistency
b7 - a4 - a9 - focuses on beta range first

Some tips for him
High down power means his skills are gonna drop opponents faster, which means less burst damage and more explosive in longer periods
They become invincible by falling on the ground faster
Two alphas drops them
One beta and one alpha drops them
You can’t profit much from gamma combos either
Beta explosion too, insta knockback
So he gets more value from longer term and more safe options
Compared to strike, risky but faster actions

the problem with kung fu is wall runner ending on the last safe zones
but the damage is worth it
on the right order, you're always getting 92-96 damage most of the times
