There is no set time. It will come when it releases. In P3R's case, that's tomorrow and I believe it's midnight for that one, so it will be after 11:59 tonight.

Queue times are driven purely by the amount of available servers and how many people are trying to play within your region. Longer queue times are caused by higher demand. We don't have unused servers just sitting around, they have to be built, which takes time. There is no way around the queue times.

Also, not sure where you got the idea that Xbox is going to be 100% cloud in a few years, but I've not heard that, and I work at Xbox.

Queue times are quite frustrating but it's only occurs rarely, because some of the popular game got released like palworld could make billions of people online at the same time which cause a longer queue times. but even, xcloud has already provided us with a very stable, simple, instant & powerful cloud gaming service than others can provide. really glad i could try a few of a new games on day 1 because of gamepass truly an experience

If you're using remote play then the console needs to be in standby mode. So it's powered off, but not unplugged/turned off at the socket.

For cloud gaming, it doesn't matter about your Xbox as you're playing from Microsoft's servers, not your console.

I absolutely love the new Touch Controls for A Little to the Left. That game is perfect for touch and it works perfectly through both Remote Play and Cloud.
Also very glad they implemented the xCloud Touch controls for Remote Play now. Really hope they bring some of the old Layouts back for games that left Game Pass.
Dragon Quest XI S and Persona 3 Portable had amazing Touch controls and they were super comfortable to use on my Tablet. Would love to continue them like I used to!

You can stream Fortnite completely free without a subscription if you want to see how well it runs, you'll have to access it through the Epic website if I'm remembering correctly. Just a fair warning, however, there can be queue times.

the real things that matter, that most people ignore and just get fixated on saying "I have many meg speeds!1!1!", are:

  1. a stable connection, without a high amount of jitter - cable service providers are notoriously bad at actualyl giving you your stated speeds consistentently

  2. a fast / short / low hop / low latency connection between yourself and the nearest microsoft xcloud datacenter (this is related to input delay, since unlike a normal video stream your actually sending data back to them)

Your speed test is kinda not totally relevant. It is the exact latency from you to the speed test server at the exact moment you run the test.

When you are using a different service in a different datacenter your round trip latency could be more or less.

Primarily, the game glitched at some point, so now I have to return to it, do a new save file

It was 5 achievements, so I have to approach in a specific order.

For the house quests, I would specifically need to replay the game from scratch and NOT do Dark Brotherhood too early.

I dunno what level I left at with Skyrim in my last save. If I got far, I might revisit it and just do the other quests

I think you have to have the ds4 app still. For some reason they don’t work as just a regular Bluetooth controller. (Might be outdated info I haven’t tried in a very long time)

i doubt it. the 360 controllers needed all sorts of weird drivers and software to get them to work on computers.

you're better off with a modern Xbox controlelr that supports bluetooth, or really any random bluetooth controller

Hello. I have a problem with the game The Quarry, I installed it this weekend on my Xbox Series S console, I played it a lot.
Today I wanted to open it in Xbox cloud gaming on my phone as I don't have access to the console, actually it's possible with the remote console, but it lags more than Cloud gaming, so I prefer to use that. But I noticed there is no progress, the game is at the very beginning. Then I looked on the console, with remote console and the progress is still there, but why is it only on the Console and not also in Cloud gaming, yet I use the same Xbox account, and I tried reopen it.

I found the issue.

When I went to install the game, I figured out that the cloud version is the XBox One version and the one you can install is XBox Series X/S. The saves aren't compatible, since they're two different (technically) games.

There are 3 people mentioning the issue in that support thread I linked. I don’t know if anyone has actually posted on Fortnite’s support Twitter or forum or whatever. It is entirely possible they have no idea anything is wrong.

Okay well as long as your latency, ping, and packet loss aren't bad, then I guess that means it might not necessarily be your own connection. That being said, if you're far from a data center, if the servers are being bogged, if there's an issue...literally anything could be the cause.
