I'm getting a series s very soon and I want to play fortnite on my main account. However, I cannot find a way to unlink my xCloud fortnite from my Xbox account, and when ever I try override it with my main, it just doesn't work, can anyone help?

Once an account has been linked it can’t be linked to a different account.

You can unlink it, but that doesn’t really do anything useful. The original link is still remembered.

This is to prevent piracy and other bad behaviors so there isn’t a workaround.

Console games don't usually allow you to change any of the graphical settings at all, and at best it's usually just being able to turn on/off post-processing effects.

Consoles aren't like PCs, and the since the game was made for 360, it likely ran at lower resolution because that's all the console could handle.

PS5 runs the title in backwards compatibility mode for the PS4 Pro. Which means that the resolution is 1920x2160 checkerboarded.

• Xbox One / S: 1600x900 and below (sub 900p)

• PS4 Pro: 1920x2160 (upscaled to 4K, dynamic)
• Xbox One X: 3840x2160 (2160p, native 4K, possibly dynamic)

For armored core 6 when you buy it do you just get both xbox one and sx versions? Is there no way to play the xbox one version on series x for better performance?

It depends. If the game has Smart Delivery, you can't play the XBox One version on Series X, since it just automatically upgrades.

If it has a stack, usually you have to buy both versions separately or a higher tier (Like Ultimate) to get both games.

Control for instance. You have to buy Control: Ultimate Edition to get the Series and One versions.

Armored Core 6 has smart delivery. It works on the One and Series consoles.

I think the only games to specifically not have smart delivery are the games where their publisher made two seperate versions of a game (manly sport games, and DMC 5)

probably 90% of the games on Xbox that have both a One and Series X version all have free smart delivery outside a few titles. I think most devs and publishers realize it's not worth doing that to the players. Because if all games had a seperate version on Series X from Xbox One, or a 10 dollar payment upgrade, I think most people would end up spending around 100 dollars (10 dollars on 10 games each) in total for their main games

Plus, looking back at PS3 to Ps4, and Xbox 360 to Xbox One: These newer systems are a lot closer in arcitexture and technology, just upgraded

Either way, for how it is. 99% of the Xbox One library is playable on Series X

and a large chunk of it (maybe 40%) have a version built for Series X.

It's true that a lot of companies are looking to release their games on more platforms and eliminate exclusivness with their games, but its not easy. At the minimum many of them are stopping with complete exclusives from the third party side of things, and Sony is bringing their games to PC.

Xbox could absolutely handle WoW. The problem starts when you take into account all of the gameplay changes that would need to happen to make it playable on a controller.

It would be severe. Compare the MMOs available on console to the MMOs available exclusively on PC and note the major gameplay differences, because there's definitely a bunch.

I feel like hotbars are probably the easiest example to use, but there's plenty more than that.

Outside of MMOs, you can look at games like Elite. That game just objectively cannot be played optimally with a controller. I mean...unless you bind everything you need for a singular purpose and then switch all your binds if you do something else, but that's obviously not ideal. You can absolutely play it and do just fine, but like...there's a bazillion different keybinds for useful things and it would make online play (if you chose to play online, you can always play solo) and harder content very difficult.

Same goes for X. Playing X is like playing your keyboard like a piano, and it's the main reason you'll never see it hit console. It would slow the actual gameplay down to a crawl, and X is already a very slow game.

Also, y'all should play X. I played X³: Terran Conflict, but newer ones exist if you wanna check those out instead.

Game porting is easier now that it was say, 10, 15 years ago, primarily before PS4 and Xbox One (or at least early days)

Baldur's Gate 3 was a unique example of a PS5 console exclusive that wasn't signed on. What it was was instead, developers having a hard time making the game work on Series S with local co op. So they have to talk with Spencer and made the conclusion to drop the feature on the Series S version but allow it on Series X.

Elden ring is really hard but many think it's the easiest from soft game yet so far. I think its a good idea if you wanna dabble in it. Dark souls and Sekiro are in general much more difficult. And elden ring has a large active player base who'll help you if you need it.

Toronto doesn't have a large resume, but they worked on the last two Far Cry games (5 and 6), they did the last Splinter Cell game, and made Starlink and Watch Dogs Legion

Hopefully maybe Elden ring will give the dlc for ultimate game pass members for free as part of the perks but at the same time it’s feels very unlikely

DLC is very rarely offered on Game Pass. The fact that the base game isn't on Game Pass means it's even less likely.

Not to mention Sony having significant investment in FromSoft.

Only reason why p3r expansion pass was included in gamepass perks was because Xbox was involved in p3r development.

If I would make my own I would join forces with Xbox & Capcom to make another fighting game just like Marvel Super Heroes, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure & Marvel vs Capcom 1 look alike...I would name it "XBOX Heroes" !!!
Join with all of you're favorite Xbox characters...Master Chief, The Slayer, BJ Blazkowicz, Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Karl,Fairburne, Marcus Fenix, Lara Croft, Hero of Oakvale, Xbox Avatar, Captain Price, Dragonborn, The Guardians, Chosen Undead & Altair. Just imagine guys just think about...on which characters that you cerish the most as a child and teen back in the nostalgia era.

uhhh yes indeed they do but however but with "Xbox Heroes" this game graphics and the gameplay would be similar to Marvel Super Heroes 1995 game on PS1.

visuals don't necessarily matter when mechanical functionality is that of a fighting game

I do think there's other great areas I wish we could see games like that, I think a kart racer would be a blast

It wasn’t until a generation later that the now retro scene took off. Smash bros melee, mvc2 (largely considered the best entry), Mario kart double dash. Etc. improvements and refinements all around
