i know this is a old message but wanted to add a message, don’t feel too pressured on having something that could cover an entire generation of games in this case. no one can guarantee what’ll happen tomorrow and i had this realization at the moment i started working but there is a lot of time left for many things. sure thing isn’t a cheap hobby but with a month working really anything you can save up enough for a xbox, specially nowadays

and most precious than money, the time. don’t waste time waiting for something, upcoming versions from the series x/s won’t run 480fps 8k or something really out of this world. maybe there isn’t even a new gen in the future or maybe we don’t still existing by next year and you didn’t bought the console because of expectations that’ll fulfill a generation of gaming or running a game.

EA usually keeps the couple most recent versions of sports games on EA Play, but yes, they pretty much always disappear. If you want to keep the games forever, you will need to purchase them.

Well, it depends on what their service scheme is.

There are plenty of delisted Xbox games that used Xbox services and are still playable online.

But I think EA mostly uses their own servers and I'd guess would be likely to shut down services for games that get delisted.

Cause nobody touches their console to turn it on or off anymore. Once you sync a controller, you turn it on by turning on the controller.

No new hardware upgrades have been announced.

The Series X CPU is marginally better than the PS5 Pro, but the GPU isn't as strong.

However, it's not going to make a huge difference as this is more about people not needing to choose between graphics modes and fps modes and will get the benefits of both, rather than massively improved graphics in games.

They recently introduced a new console with 2 TB of internal storage. They should have also updated the ram to 32 Gig. 32 Gig is quickly becoming the standard for PCs. The extra ram would help with some of the new games and simulators i.e. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Activision security in general works terribly... they have entered by linking an unknown Steam account to my Activision account and changed my Activision ID... without asking for even a sad authentication code, and to do it via web they ask me for codes non-stop :S.Then I ask support to restore it and an automated bot comes up saying that they don't detect anything strange in my account and that they close the case, and support says that I should say that it has been stolen from me to act but since the bot says no... I am with an account with a changed name and I don't know what they have done... incredible.

And no, there is no support for the Activision account, only for their games. It is normal that they attack something with such security flaws.

I have not had any problems with Microsoft and Blizzard, that is. Except for the absence of CM from MS in my country.
