You can look at their first product on a console during the early years, and then the final product at the end of the generation

NaughtyDog is a good example with Uncharted. since for a lot of developers they had to learn the architecture of the system

Doom Eternal was a fairly easy completion. Dark Ages looks a lot more grindy. Not only are there collectibles, but there are also mastery challenges for every weapon and mission challenges. 😒
