any external hard drive will allow you to play older games and/or store X/S games. The only expansion item that will let you play X/S games is the expansion card (expensive).

if you store the X/S game on the external, you would have to move it to internal to actually play it. for some, it's still faster than downloading the game (depends on your internet speeds)

So all together it didn’t expire until 1 year which it expired today. So technically it’s the 12 month ultimate game pass I’m assuming?
