For the next few CoD games, there are already deals in place with Sony, so those deals could include agreements not to put the games onto competing services (Game Pass). As for older CoD games, we don't know what deals were in place for those, but Activision made a lot with Sony.

Discord and Xbox have a promotion. Nitro subscribers get a 2 month code for Game Pass Ultimate. They are trial codes for new subscribers only, so people who already have Game Pass can't use them, or people who don't use Xbox/PC don't want them.

I haven’t seen that before. Gift card shouldn’t require recurring billing. And the trial codes auto setup recurring billing.
