I hope the PC game pass some day gets an "ultimate tier" that includes EA Play Pro and DLC versions of other games featured on the game pass. Would be pretty expensive but I'd say such a subscription would be well worth it. PC game pass is as it is but a second tier would just crank up the value even more imo

I am making this up but I feel like EA Play Pro is EA's "bring in the short term premium revenue for the new AAA games" subscription tier and I doubt they will ever take much of a discount on that

So it's possible Microsoft could pay them a lot behind the scenes but if EA Play Pro is $x then I'd expect any version of it that came with Xbox would be very close to $x more because of that.

You can do daily searches on your phone and pc and then there are also many different punchcards like weekly quests and daily achievements on your console. Once you have over 1.6k pts, you can join gamepass ultimate for 1 dollar if you havent already and then start doing gamepass quests for even more pts and then continue to renew your subscription and or get discount when you buy games.
