It depends on where you're playing as far as which would be better. Premium is geared more towards console so it will have less PS game. Ultimate includes all subscriptions bascially so it'll have all the console games and all of the PC games inludeded.

Let me clear up some old information here

Essential and Premium now include PC only games. The big subscription reconfiguration that renamed all of the subscriptions and also increased the prices of Ultimate and PC Game Pass was meant to make Essential, Premium, and Ultimate the main subscriptions for everyone.

Therefore PC Game Pass, which is now not a mainline subscription, still has everything that was available for PC in Ultimate (just like Console Game Pass did) but Premium now includes all of the PC-only titles (minus Day Ones) and Essential has a smattering.

The main way to tell what is in each is the website.

Also be aware that of the three, only Ultimate includes EA Play and Ubisoft+ Classics.

Depending on when the game was added, I usually assume it's leaving on the same date it joined. So if a game joins January 1st, I assume it's leaving on January 1st. It's not ALWAYS accurate, but it's pretty common.

But it's not just speed that matters. There's a lot of other things that can affect it, such as wired vs wireless, high ping, jitter on the connection etc.

Wired is going to be better than wireless, but still not going to guarantee it will run perfectly. Lots of other things can affect it.
