The remasters were made on UE4 while the originals were designed on UE3. They basically rebuilt most of the game assets with some things looking better and a lot actually looking worse. I think the PC version which uses UE3 original engine and assets is the best to play now by far. Not to mention there is a weird 45fps cap on the return to Arkham games.

Battlefield 3 hasn't been able to be installed for more than a month now even though it is part of the Xbox Gamepass + EA Play collaboration, it states on the Xbox App that it can be installed, yet once EA App launches it only offers for it to be purchased. I only hoped that with the arrival of Battlefield 2042 today that this issue might be fixed, sadly that's not the case. Does anyone know any fixes/workarounds for this?

this issue has existed since EA Play was added to Game Pass. It doesnt affect the US but in most Game Pass regions, BF3 is not available

the only work around is to use a VPN to a US server and then download BF3, and you can continue playing it indefinitely with your Game Pass subscription. Really annoying when BF3 is advertised as part of Game Pass PC/Ultimate globally but you have to do this work around.

It's probably EA's fault honestly. You can buy the game via the Origin client if that still works, I ended up buying it and right now it's on sale for £4. Campaign is pretty good.
