there are different modes, but yeah. there is an Ultimate Team version where you get cards to build a team which takes a long time to get decent, or you can just play online with the proper teams

Ultimate Team is in most of the EA games,. you start out with a bronze team, open packs to get Silver/Gold players and there are some special cards that boost a players attributes. also you gain coins and can just buy players from the Market

The touchpad... yeah.... the vast majority of the time it is just an extra button. I can't think of that many times when I've used it as anything more. I could summon up a couple of examples, but... nothing significant. One of them is barely more than "just a button" in that you put two thumbs on it and swipe them apart.

So, in both versions of the final mission, there's a point where you do a qte to jump into a helicopter. Issue is, it seems to be tied to the fps on how many times you need to hit the A button. So essentially, you either have to essentially be a guitar hero expert or you won't be able to do it.

The game originally targeted 30 fps on consoles, but it targets 60 fps on Series X.

And it isn't like there's an option to set it back to 30, as it isn't an fps boost enhancement, it's 60 by default.

Different problems depending on game, yeah. It's still playable, it just gets funky-looking. In fact, since getting Series it's the first game I've found which doesn't run exactly as expected. As such I find it a bit interesting.
