I never fully understood it.

For example, you could attach a gamepad to your smartphone and keep playing your Xbox games while on the go, via WiFi or a 4G/5G connection.

Or if you're at your console, you could use it to quickly try out a game without having to download and install it first, skipping having to make space for the download.

If you're on Xbox One, you can even use it to play Series XS games

Some of them you can. For example, the Steelseries Arctis 7X works by plugging in a USB adapter to your Xbox, and the headphones connect directly to it.
But the other models of Arctis (those without the X in the name) won't work.

First place 20 times, equip a legendary, and qualify from 500 rounds.

I lost interest as I didn't realise even if you place first in a race in a squad, your squad also still needs to place first overall for it to count as a win.

Equipping a legendary is just a matter of doing the daily challenges. You level up quite quickly.

Some game modes make it very easy to be first in a race too, like the Yeetus one from last week.

I do wish I could see how many rounds I have classified in so far, from the 500 total goal.

I wasn't far off the battle pass level either. It was just the first place races.

Yeah knowing how many I have done out of the 20 would be nice

The 20 race win achievement is annoying too because being in a duo or squad affects it. There's been several times I finished a race first, but it didn't count because I was in a duo/squad and the other people didn't finish right after me to ensure we got first place for the squad.

Me finishing the line first doesn't count unless it's solo or the whole squad gets a 1st place finish in the event.

Yeah exactly what I said above. It's the sole reason I gave up with doing all achievements because it relied heavily on my squad which I mostly played with.
