How does shiny hunting work in this game anyway, is there any chain bs or something to make it easier?

No chaining mechanics.
You do encounter multiple at once tho so it's just hard to target, like I got 5 shiny Heracrosses and 4 Weepinbels before I got shiny Scyther in the same zone.

The thing this game does is cache your shinies when you trigger one so that reseting the zone (walking far enough away or fast traveling or cycling day/night) wont reset your shiny. Up to 10 shinies can be cached, if you trigger an 11th without catching any, the oldest cached will be replaced.

So shiny hunting is reseting the respawn over and over. Some spots you can just fast travel spam to the wild zone entrance, some you spam bench rest, and some you gotta walk

So i bought one a good one from a company that is considered a top tier one direct and well let's just say I got a good deal; the coupon only lasted 30 minutes.

Everything was OK took about 5 days and I got a shipping note but they decided to ship a newer, less proven but similar vaccum and I was not alone. A variety of folks on a message forum that had benefited from the deal had a different one sent. Approximate value is comparable with the notable difference new one being blue one I ordered was white and older, but proven versus newer and not much feedback.

When i called in they offered lower replacements but simply said "sorry you can't have the one you ordered it's not an option, out of the question no stock and no plans to restock" so either take what we sent or the alternatives or refund. Keeping in mind that the refund option would then make me lose out on the black friday deal

She was supposed to call me back last thursday to discuss the options and had told me to refuse the delivery. Had I done that it would have been sent back and I would now have missed out on any sales or whatever. She hasn't called me back, and I even sent a note to their executive team last week and so far "crickets" nothing.

So basically getting the middle finger from the company to even discuss what I will do.

Anyway it all changed yesterday as I had picked up the blue alterntiave vaccum from a local post office (Another issue they had was their courier never bothered to deliver it lol.)

Suddenly my board member friend said you have a big package waiting for in the lobby.

And guess what it's the oringal vacuum that one I had actually bought delivered in additon to the one last week I picked up lol.

So now here I am with two 1000+ vacuums, waiting for an executive callback from this company who had decided to later me and all of a sudden now I have some power here lol.

They don't seem to be aware they sent me both 🙂

Here in Canada I cannot be held liable for unsolicted goods so unless they proactive ask for it back I can keep it but there's a part of me that feels bad but also a part of me that wants to middle finger them back because I can tell that if they contact me now it's only self serving because they sent me a duplicate
