Either way SQEX/XIV is smart, they don't really have to do any revolutionary shit; people will still love the game. Unlike Blizzard/WoW who pulled the rip cord creating DF after their bro-culture sexual harassment/assault created a marketing pitfall for them. I'm gonna shake my magic 8-ball and say either way, tomorrow is going to be very entertaining.

Personally, I'm going to predict it's going to be Dragonflight 2.0 though.

When Blizz does nothing revolutionary everyone's like "WoW dead game nothing new" and when FF14 does that everyone praises the game, that's the one thing I can't understand

Some were even defending the garbage netcode for the fall guys event. Wow had a better netcode in 2004 and better server infra in vanilla than XIV has in 2023

XIV doesnt have m+ though and their raid scene is garbo

Ninja has the basic 1-2-3, but sometimes you'd do 1-2-4 to keep a buff up. THey have something else (idk what its called and thats funny considering I've played a ton of ninja lately, but I call it "hand signal shit")
