Had a weird encounter in XIV today @obtuse dawn - We were doing the last raid to help someone get their pants token, a black mage gets hit by everything, says "heals plz", w/e I rez him, gets hit by everything again, and declines every rez after. We had to healer LB3 at some pt since people were dying, that forced them alive, they jumped off platform to die again lol

Well, that's what S-crafts are for.

You can "cut in" the turn order as long as you have 100 out of the 200 CP needed for it.

(Heck, you even have this broken Time spell that allows you to act 2 turns in a row if you want)

You have ways to manipulate the turn order in this game. =/

Delaying enemies, breaking them.... There's even some skills and orders that give you "accelerate" which gives all affected characters immediate turn.

See, I got this guy here, has a SS strength S-craft, loaded on STR items, high crit, and he has a quartz that increases his crit dmg further.

Needless to say, he kicks a lot of ass.

He's kinda squishy, but I got a tank and some support countermeasures if he goes down.

Doubt I'll need it since I'm playing on normal though, but can't be too careful.

In Etrian Odyssey for instance, if you can land poison on the early mobs and invest a lot in it, it'll melt them. Even bosses.
