You can roughly calculate your effective HP in a simplistic way

By equipping each item and doing HP / (1 - defensive vers)

And see which one is gonna be higher

In general, necklace and rings you can drop some 12 or 16 ilvl safely if the higher one has no vers
Armor pieces, 3-4 ilvl should be fine to drop, 7-8 eeeeh depends on slot, iffy, more than that unlikely to be an actual gain in survivability at all.

As a melee, never drop ilvl on weapon

You play that way everywhere. You pool astral power to full by maintaining dots and sometimes hardcasting, then you burst with back to back surges. These days healers arent gonna spam aoe dispel tho because UA dispel actually hurts a lot, especially multiple at once can one shot a healer. So that pvp talent isnt as crazy as it sounds.

There isnt a hard cap on when you start losing rating tho

If you have 0 gear you should farm up the honor items first

They'll get you to 184, and you can get some conquest items at 200 without rating too.

Starting next week you unlock honor items upgrades to 197

Also the campaign renown set has a lot of vers gear and can be upgraded to 190 rn I think.

Itd pretty much have no difference. Boomy channel would see massive activity and there would be little in resto/feral. People very rarely ask about resto and feral already.

If you are going to get focused, having pvp gear will be very useful

If you are just blasting then you can probably swap in some high ilvl pve

You aren't simply gaining 4k hp when you go up 10 ilvls tho lol

You're gaining more primary stat, more of other secondaries, faster globals/casts, etc

that 207 ring with no verse is prob a lot worse than the 200 ring with majority verse
