Idk, I don't think full moon is that bad. There is definitely a strat for it. I'm not saying its baseline or anything, but itll hit for like 18k if you get it off, so they are forced to relieve pressure from your healer. Or line, which also reduces pressure. Basically the same concept as Gpie last season.

Verdant infusion is what most r1 rdruids are using atm, for affinity depends on bracket / matchup, for 2s I play feral almost every game except into double dps comps, for 3s usually guardian aff into melee cleaves or rmx but u can get away with feral aff vs like double casters or caster and slow melee war ret etc. I run well honed instincts for another defensive cd as well @azure canopy
Wont be a very different experience as feral from what I've heard, just play whichever you're more comfortable with, they're both fine dps wise. @eternal charm

Healing is generally more difficult to pick up in arena than dps
And resto druid isn't the best healer in the game atm so if you have no preference, I'd say give the dps specs a try, but try resto too it doesn't matter, if you like it you'll improve more/faster

Issue with Feral dots is Rip is a finisher so you're actively taking away from Bite damage. For Boomie, you just put up 2 dots as builders and still dump all your resource on Starsurges.

There hasn’t been much guardian talk in here. That being said I think guardian doesn’t have a ton of burst so maybe look at legacy to make your damage windows larger. But for survivability natural order would be nutty

Wowhead says it drops from that elite just like it says it drops 25 other legendaries, including other druid ones, because the final bosses are random and some of them can be selected in multiple wings. Wowhead just pulls data from players looting mobs, and the memory comes as loot from the final boss.
Symmetrical Eye drops from Soulforges layer 3 or higher, like the Adventure Guide, or Wowhead guides, tell you @inland bear

It's the same cd as Berserk but 10s longer and with a Rake stun attached. Not worth the talent slot for such a small upgrade unless maybe if you're playing double dps and games are ending on opener everytime

Verd is what I would run for 3s specifically. Oath is a great early pick up if you also do rbgs and 2s
I crafted a r1 verdant and r1 oath first. Verd I very between rbg comp and almost always use it in 3s, I use oath for 2s. Sometimes*** I'll use oath in 3s if for example I'm queuing into double DH etc. It's very specific and when I know I need the extra DR+Bearform and 3 frenzy regens (counting the conduit) to survive. Queue into ret+venge, or double venge oath goes on. Hunt (dh ability not the class) or double hunt combined with other burst is almost too much to survive without it (for me).

That and those other specific matches (which you'll recognize quickly) hinge on you not just insta dying to the setup gimmick.
Just take whatever secondaries you want. For raiding they are all so close it's not an issue. Mastery is only the clear winner for resto in M+, however that does nothing to contribute to damage which quickly becomes the healers main stay after mid season+

Easy start is with RBG until you find you some good partners in 2s/3s. I yolo pugged up to 1760 just doing caps and honor farming, 1800 is super easy to hit there just farming and chilling. Nothing super impressive but it's at least 213 ilvl pvp gear to get you started after a few weeks.

Pugging 2s as a new pvper (rdruid) is a drama. I'm not sure if my expectations are high or my hots too low 😩 against a healer/dps comp i have time to react, cc and to learn, but against double dps is over very fast. Most arena partners are aware of these, but they just leave after 5-10 games

@fresh estuary I've had semi decent success with a WW as a partner (guildie who's new to pvp, we're low rated at 1600 though). For the burst with double DPS its been a crapshoot but him being able to transcendance, have all hots rolling from OG and then just pump has been nice.

Cool to know! I think the skills of the arena partners matter also a lot. I played with a returning glad lock player from 0-1300 and felt so smooth. Then switched to some pugs (no double pvp trinkets, no ccs) and hard stuck at 1.2k now. I know it's low rating but I just started :P

Yeah the guy I'm playing with is learning as well, its a long process but he's doing well. Honestly get someone from guild or a mate you can play with, comms helps massively. Especially when our HoTs are so weak in comparison to the burst that can be put out.

Apex allows you to funnel DPS too which I love. with a big enough pack in dungeons you just PW and then practically chain free max bites on the most dangerous healer / caster mob
For pvp I find it iffy since I'm not running PW. Lots of effort expended to keep rips up on 1+ target and even in the best case you get the free bite + a second one... compared to the 3 bites in a row you can get on demand w/ symm

@deft crag double dps 2s are a race, I’m not sure what your partner is, but if you are against double melee you play thorns. Use thorns + bark and bear regen + potentially Phial when they connect. I play Dreambinder + fury of elune so if it’s something I can super easily put out tons of pressure on I’ll pop CDs instantly and get surges out

Necrolord is good for resto and it's like, not worthless like Venthyr. But Kyrian is reliable solid good burst, lines up well for boomie if you want to play FoE, and Night Fae is a pretty OP gimmick for now.

@placid mirage thanks, I’ve actually been trying that. Just feels I get focussed and I can’t pump any damage. I’ve found mage/rogue comps especially tricky and I swear every third fight is that comp. I just tend to pug with other dds often Hunter/spriest/rogue. Saying that, I’ve had the most success with a udk...
