The 'cap' that goes up by 550 each week is the total amount of conquest you earned throughout the entire season. It's still only 550 per week each week.
If you didn't earn any conquest week 1, then week 2 you can earn 1100. But if you got 350 week 1, then week 2 you can only earn 750.
If you got all 550, next week you can only get another 550.

Being "energy starved" doesn't really mean anything and there will not be a 'solution' to this issue because that's simple how the energy resource works. You are limited in your spell presses by energy, not by global cooldown.

Not in the same way- prot paladin does almost as much healing as holy for arena. Guardian has much less utility there. Some 3s comps I know run the prot pally instead of their healer, i dont think guardian could do the same

Boat almost guarantees crits, without boat your crit chance is super low. Crit starsurge is a lot more than 10/20% extra damage. The burst of critting multiple starsurges seems like the best chance to get enemy cooldowns or a kill

rip dps is the same no matter how many combo points, so if you're trying to kill RIGHT NOW a 1-2 pointer to have it up is fine. 5pt lasts longer and is most efficient long term

So I was thinking of going Necrolord for Adaptive Swarm and the shield for survivability. Boomkin with Resto affinity, for extra heals + synergy with Adaptive Swarm.
For legendary was thinking the Circle of Life and Death for increased DoT/HoT damage/heals and synergy with Boomkin + Resto and the Covenant ability.
Do you guys think this could be good, or is Boomkin DoT damage not good enough?
I'm only level 37 now and planning ahead on what I'll be doing. Any tips would be fantastic!
