Too hard for new players to get into, healers have no agency in games so don’t queue solo, too hard to LFG - they could implement the LFG tools they added to MoP classic as a start.

Class balancing would be nice. Removing rng one shots. But maybe that’s asking a lot.

I think dampening should reducing healing but also increase the damage healers do. Trying to heal at 70+% dampening is for fools. Make them feel useful.

like blizzard has these satchel rewards u get for queuing for lfr, normally as a tank or healer, when the queue times are too long and ppl are doing that just for the 5k gold they can sometimes get i know a lot of people who usually play til some rating and then quit would instead keep grinding all season to try to unlock more rewards

Not really. If you watch Whaazz when he plays boomy he goes to whichever he can. Any eclipse > no eclipse.

Solar for teants& dreamgrove procs for sure.

Outside of that, if you have two instant starfire you can get into solar easy. Or going into lunar with two super fast wrath’s (and probably a free precog) is worth it. Outside of treants most of our dmg is astral or arcane anyway.

Also, sometimes you want to save your owlkin procs to get a fast clone out so you don’t want to use an instant starfire. In those cases casting two wrath’s and going into lunar eclipse is worth it too.

I think it boils down to skill and min / maxing. If you want to keep the gameplay simple then just go solar every time. If you have the ability to understand procs and play around them and DRs / interrupts then you can get more from varying ecplise.

But like vs double melee training you most of your dmg is moonfire and star surge. If you go lunar eclipse you can instant starfire non stop and cleave both of them for more AP. It’s not gonna make or break a game but might give some edge.
