It's always more or less been a feel thing, rather than a specific number, breakpoints dont exist really from a healing perspective as everything is dynamic, it's largely around your cast speed of shit like clone and/or general feel. Historically around 21%, but YMMV these days

Some classes have additional scalers on their stats, e.g. some get more mastery per point or more crit per point, or more crit = more crit damage
you could try to extrude an argument that like... some specs become oppressively strong with a heap of stats where their burst is cooked or they get enough resource gen / haste to really crank and shit but meh its not like some spec just instantly becomes god tier end of xpac on stats alone

No feral isnt very squishy. Also you are probably playing too defensively = no presure = lose. Frostmages can be annoying but u can also presure the healer, forcing the mage to come to you, then swap him, then healer again. Multidot

In 2s you are half the team, so if you fuck up simple shit it’ll be obvious
I think 2s is great for learning your class, ensuring you play it right and then going to 3s
