Yeah your gearing is conquest and bloody tokens. You get a free weapon when you hit 2500 total conquest gained in the season.
You can use conquest to buy a material to craft PVP scaled gear, this is good for some slots to customize your stats better.
You can just copy someone like enji said and be ok.

Yeah it depends on the stats the weapons give. For rogue, the daggers give crit and if youre assassination that's your worst stat

Then there’s stuff like mes arena cds which give you a big text alert and a sound anytime someone on the enemy team does something significant, those are super nice

Like you can have a buffs bar somewhere that tracks your offensive cds and your defensive externals on a better part of your screen as well

@robust vigil its not the cleanest so ignore some of this stuff but on my screen u see "primordial wave and stand in earthen" are weakauras. they give me info i might otherwise not see. my flurry strikes indicator on the bottom left is also a weakaura, it helps me line up my burst better cause its almost impossible to properly treack with default ui. on my targetted player frame to the left you see some of my debuffs, to the right you see in big icons some of their cds like shield and pi, and above is an addon called nameplatecds which is not really mandatory u can also track all of that in gladius. but the buffs/debuffs on my nameplate are done through plater

The main thing for me is you don’t notice until you take a screenshot and scan over everything that things overlap or are off center or are unnecessary. Like if I took a full screenshot of my ui I’d be embarrassed to show it and instead just crop out a little segment before I posted it on dgpvp for instance

Mostly a lack of pattern yeah. Off center icons, party and arena frames look like they should be symmetric but they're not aligned either, the targeting bars on the frames are also off center (just having these bars cross thru the middle looks pretty silly), stance bar just hanging there.
