I'm just looking at getting into shuffles and 3s maybe but lost on what I should do for gear. I've not long come back after a break for a few years. Jumped into M+ and got myself up to 473 ilvl. At the moment I've just got myself the pvp trinkets but is there any point in getting myself the crafter gear or honor gear? Just go for the conquest?

I see a lot of people using crafter gear in arenas too. Looks like an expensive way to go for me haha

If a PvE piece is higher or equivalent ilvl than a PvP piece and has vers on it and no crit it's generally going to be a slot you don't need to replace, at least in the short term.

Ilvl is king unless you'll end up having really low vers as that is a recipe for a quick death.

Since you're 473 you'll be able to knock out ilvl and naturally gain vers since it's on just about every single pvp piece.

Everyone who's been playing all season in rated is 489 atm but you'll also catch up to them pretty fast since conquest is currently fully uncapped due to it being late season.
