You can get non-seasonal rewards, generally, like 2200 in 2v2, but not duelist, rival, elite set, glad, etc.

You have the wpvp gear, on which you can boost with trophy of strife
And the upgraded version is basically a conquest piece, alongside it has Versatility on set bonus
So it is pretty good to get two of the Blood Tokens Gear to have the Versatility tier bonus and upgrade them with trophy of strife, which you can farm 8 weekly
So there is a "Optimal Way" to spend the weekly cap of Trophy of Strife and Conquest
So you also don't waste money on enchants
