You can play both. Our damage is not that high, so it doesnt really matter. Cat is more prio damage while caster is more pad aoe. Caster spells got buffed to deal more damage combined with the starfire bugs got us to this point.

Though, when I play with my bf whos a tank usually, I can heal him during huge gather pulls and i get zero agro. Is it just monk tank or is this guy doing something wrong? Looking at my logs, I always let the spell reach the last 5 seconds but never extend it. That comes out to 21 casts per fight, whereas top druids are at 6 casts per fight.

macro what you want, just know that you will have to unlearn something once the way u play changes. I personally do, it helps me a lot, i dont use in it in M+ and its fine. I think the fact that i macro in raid and dont macro out of raid stops it being an issue.
