There are three damage events you want to be ready for: 3 targets getting channeled on, the tentacles spawning/channeling, and then his pulsing AoE. I personally use Convoke for the tentacle phase since people are spread and it feels a little more hectic, and the others I deliberately prehot and fall back on Tranq if things are scary. But at 17 you definitely have the tools to just heal natty, it’s mostly a matter of knowing which things hurt and why, and being ready

doesn't matter.. it does a certain percentage of spec specific spells and a certain percentage of generic spells (which include damage abilities)
so if you are out of melee, the generic spells will simply be wraths/moonfires instead of rake/bite

My2c tho overall isnt the best metric cos theres always a massive amount of aoe dmg alr. Imo need to look closer at how you are doing prio dmg and boss dmg. A super basic example is that correctly prio pumping the voidcaller in MT can be the diff between only 2 consuming shadows or 3 (which drastically increases wipe risk)

I come here for the Bear knowledge part but wanted to stop in to say hello and share something in case it is not common knowledge. I tank and heal as a druid but I only heal as a shammy so I found out as a healer in Delves if you use Valeera as DPS and give her 'Nether Entropic Kris' and 'Mandate of Sacred Death' she is unbelievably strong. I buzz right through the delves and every last boss is a sub one minute fight. I stopped using my bear in delves and go resto. If that helps anyone it will make my day 🙂

To add on what I ve said.
17/24 swiftmends did not extend hots. You want to extend lifebloom and 2x rejuv on your target which would be yourself most of the time.
14/15 lifeblooms were not extended in pandemic so you didnt get the bloom. Dont even need to talk about 48% uptime.
Your ramps for tranq and convoke are not big enough.
You have everbloom doing 8% instead of the usual 18%+ it should be doing.
Focus on what Rose said about ramping and lifebloom. We were looking at different logs but your play has the same fundamental mistakes.

for mythic+ does anyone ever use enchanced rejuves over regrowth? Is it normally for when big aoe dmg is coming, its lifebloom tank (maybe rejuvs if time), swiftmend, wild growth, and regrowth spam

We haven’t really talked about it, but our Holy Paladin handles most of it. It’s not specifically assigned to anyone, but he usually does the most healing there. I just don’t feel very effective in that part, which is why I was asking.

I wouldnt worry about it unless it is a raid problem, holy paladins are uniquely equipped to do that bit. Just make sure youre doing the other bits we recommended solidly yeah? We arent really built to deal with big absorbs, personally i like chucking an ironbark on them and an empowered regrowth when i get the chance but thats about it aside from normal hots.

looking through a few logs and there are a few people getting spatial, but some people are just managing full channels multiple times
even got a log where someone must have had crazy luck, since they managed a 7/7 and 5/7 channel and never popped bark

The 80 myth crests you spend on the craft allows you to upgrade a 1/6 myth wep up to 5/6 for free, so it’s not wasted crests

I would still upgrade the crafted weapon if you're not caught up on the bonus rolls situation, it'll take you a while to farm up all the way to the unlock. You dont have to craft another one tho, just recraft the one you got.

If you do have the bonus rolls unlocked then you can guarantee yourself a myth track weapon by sending them all on 1 dungeon that drops it
