It’s the weirdest mindset and takes a while to ignore. For druids our hots stay on the target 12-15 seconds so we need to have them up at all times so it’s ready for the damage.

if you're going at worst-luck scenario in the chimaerus example, you got a mythic tier chest this week, and next week you're getting another mythic tier chest, the week after you're getting an offhand, the week after you're getting a belt, and in 4 weeks you're getting alnseer.
Someone who did not spend their reroll before the thing on Chimaerus and rolls this weekend witht he same rng will get them a myth chest this week, offhand next week, in 2 weeks they're getting the belt and in 3 weeks they're getting alnseer, this person has a advantage because they're getting their alnseer a week earlier

I usually do but healing through it usually isnt too bad if we didnt pull those 2 together, I generally cast f. regen for it or am initally in cat and go out

If that’s the case, you need to play correctly. Getting 4-6 rejuvs out (SotF alone gets you 3) then leveraging Abundance to cast multiple Regrowths will do much more healing than what you’re doing.

They said "it was possible for the roll data to sometimes save to the wrong database", not like "all of the rolls on day 1 saved to the wrong database"
so there's still hope!!

even if you did not get duplicates, chances are you're still affected in that way, it's a database diff, the game was writing to the wrong database

they get 2 new rolls and can POTENTIALLY get 2 other items which is likely to be a different items lets say offhand and cloak you have 4 items out of 7 and 2 are knocked off
getting other items is 5/7 compared to getting the same 2/7
