Hi all, first time pushing higher keys and currently working through 16/17s, should I be prestacking hots on the tank immediately, or waiting until they’ve finished pulling?

I’ve had a few instances now where the tank is still gathering mobs for the initial hero pull but DPS or the tank starts taking some hits and at this key level it feels risky to not immediately start topping them, but throwing out heals has ripped aggro on some mobs a few times. I generally try to stick on the tank so it’s easy for them to pick them back up and I meld if needed, but is this ultimately just a tank issue, or should I be relying on everyone to pop defensives / pots / etc to live until tank has finished pulling?
