Will agree that comms haven't been great. There were many aggressive timelines given out it seems on things such as full map/campaign and they rushed ranked mode as it's bugged. Seems like this next update isn't going to give us much from a game change perspective either. my prediction is that this game will generate a small but stable cult following on PC that chugs along for a few years if it stays alive, where people make a little bit of money here and there.

It will struggle to retain any kind of traction with console players because the console loot marketplace sucks ass compared to what it was even a year ago, and people who just started don’t really have any upward mobility like I had when I started playing because the match earnings nerfs and omnihexes ruined things.

PC might have some kind of cool spike in player count if it gets any kind of genuine mainstream success and then if that happens, the people who were around from jumpstreet will probably make some good money, if rare old battlepass guns ever get as popular as CSGO knife skins, or whatever.

But things are not going to move at a rate for console players that makes it nearly as potentially successful. and by the time all that licensing and legal red tape finally gets untangled, the only people on console who would have the potential to earn anything would be idiots like me who just collected a bunch of cool stuff early and sat on it for a long time and make some money off of FOMO with stuff that’s in low circulation by the time that happens.

And a lot of that hinges on whether or not my mint numbers don’t get messed with whenever integration happens

My low mint number skins/guns are only that number on Xbox. someone else has that number on Sony for that same skin, and same thing on PC.
