It's also cringe the way customs are being played I'll say it straight up. Customs have been some of the most challenging and fun things to come along since I've been on OTG, because the end game scrambles are fun. People are grabbing bounties early, then after they kill people immediately shoot them as they spawn back in right above where they died wiping that person. That person now has to wait nearly 20 minutes to play again. It's toxic. You can't beg for people to come play customs, then when they do just wipe them early because you're bored.

So ranked isnt really a true ranked like we all wanted, cant speak on the solo guys not playing the mode they wanted, but ranked is done terribly from the matchmaking to where its a mission simulator 5000, theres also no system set up to want to keep grinding ranked after you hit max rank no decay to rank for not playing no rewards to keep grinding and the matchmaking for ranked makes it just not fun, players want to play and good players get shhhhhiii for stacking so we solo queue some stay with their team but some like myself go and try a fight the 3 stacks solo, now if I see my randoms struggling I'll come help or stay close to help if need be but it all comes down to how those other modes are setup currently cause i guarantee we wouldnt be in casual at all if ranked was any good

Sorry you want them to stay with you I understand like many others its a team game but good players typically want to challenge themselves and continue to get better

I say this not as an argument, but as an observation. The game is not dying because of the devs or how its set up its dying because of the mentality of the majority of veteran players still playing. "I wanna play trios as a solo so I can take on whole teams by myself." Except there's no button to not autofill. So you run off by yourself leaving your two teammates, new or not, disadvantaged at any engagement they get into agaisnt a full team. That ruins the enjoyment for them. If they try to work with you or stay nearby, or communicate and you're refusing, again causing aggravation for your teammates. New players that experience this enough will just stop playing, and it doesn't take that many instances. In the other instance you're so good you're sitting on causal players actually working in a group of three and you're getting the same thing of "Why am I playing this when there's clearly no skill balance." You're going to actively kill the growth of the game by acting like this. No one's playing solos, but you're all in trios playing the game like its solo "Cause I don't wanna bot farm" but it wouldn't be a bot farm if you all just all went and played solos. Again this is an observation, not an argument.

I do see your frustration here, and trust i and others have nerfed ourselves to even make it more fair for newer players, but the solo game mode is limited to 15 real players per game if im not mistaken, and since the ones who yelled for it to come back arent playing it we are getting 5 real people max in a solo mode, I cant speak for others who solo queue trios but what you're stating will kill the new player base i dont think is the case good players in complete 3 stacks running the lobby in casuals will do that all because they didnt implement a good ranked

I get you. I just find it lacking to be stuck with noobs in ranked when that was the whole point imo of ranked was not getting steamrolled by a team of sweats while you are stuck with a couple dead weights. Although, having said that it's not a problem for me at the moment as I went on vacation for a couple months and am now winning basically every game in solos. Like almost every game lol. Ironically, when I play ranked with teammates now I still don't do well despite being on a less competitive server as it's basically 1v3 with my two teammates wandering off in the woods somewhere. In solos I win 90% of the time. In trios I lose 90% of the time.
