Speed up by diving forward, I'll try to adjust it to be less close tomorrow, but the alternative request was "slow the jetpack down" and I was able to avoid that catastrophe by adjusting the camera instead because my bosses thought the jetpack was too fast on the initial activation

Basically if you activate the jetpack while still holding forward, you automatically dive forward and faceplant. The delay is a short duration you can tune to prevent it diving forwards, but like I said it's mainly an accessibility feature

The movement while flying is out of this world, and with the delay set to 0 it’s incredible. In my personal opinion, it should be made a bit smoother/lighter because it currently feels just a little heavy. Other than that, diving off buildings and gliding at high speed is fantastic. I feel like I can even control high-speed flight better, entering windows or tight spaces with much more precision.
The hitbox when hitting walls or obstacles should be slightly refined, because sometimes you ‘collide’ and the flight gets interrupted even though I didn’t actually touch anything — maybe just missed it by a millimeter

Bumping antialiasing way up will smooth the jagged edges and like a single notch of post-processing will give you color/shading depth without breaking the FPS bank.
I tend to put on ultra performance and low presets and then bump those two up a tad with my 3090ti when streaming.

More than 1 charge in general across a lot of limbs was so problematic for balancing that there was nothing we could do to balance certain limbs. I can make adjustments to the cooldowns to further make them more available more often and I'm gonna keep an eye on things on a case-by-case basis

Yeah that was my aim, before this update I'd often find I'd get engaged and my limbs would be on cooldown and at that point it was more or less over for me. Now even though my limbs are a bit less impactful, they're almost always ready to rock when someone tries to push me.
Not saying the cooldown times are perfect, I'm gonna be keeping my eye on them and tweaking them some more in the coming weeks, but the general usage of them shouldn't be changing drastically

Yeah it's been a weird one to reproduce, some people never get it, I got it 100% of the time 1 day before the patch dropped, the engineer who could fix it got it once and then couldnt reproduce it again until someone in the office near him managed to reproduce it and he had to go to his desk to debug it 😭

@quasi osprey we have tried the customs and it’s not working correctly. To host games. It only allows 2 players per hosting . If there is any more details on how to properly host a game and have more people join full 60/60 then lets us know

OOOO I didn't know that. That's actually a good idea from OTG for ranked. Just needs a 5x on RP increase/decrease and we'd be set. It's so hard to climb ranks and is not satisfying getting a win. Hopefully they do a fix for it soon so that when new people or returning people play ranked so that they will get more addicted to the ranked climb.

Just did the math and if you average 225 rp before fee it will take you 142.5 hrs. or 5 days and 22 hrs. to hit final rank. Thats with an average queue+match time of 25 min. (being generous)

That's easier said than done tbh. The reason why it was OP in the recent update is because there was a hit reg bug. They fixed it and the maxigun landed every shot and it just shredded people. So they're doing a temporary nerf for it so they can have time to fix it instead of have everyone run maxigun and shred everyone they lay eyes on.

it was a bug to begin with. they changed ZERO maxigun damage or rpm values during the big update. all they did was fix the hitreg bug and it just shredded anyone and everyone. so they are temporarily nerfing it. and i've been a maxigun main for about 6 months now. i'm just going to use one of the 12 other limbs instead of the maxigun for now until they get it fixed.

bro i used the maxi gun too i killed you and iceman issac when he last streamed with it 3 updates ago they likely tried to nerf it by reduceing the hitbox or moving the hit box and/or making every other consecutive bullet register dmg to increase ttk but then completely broke it and tried to secret nerf it without putting it in the patch notes. the second to last update fixed the hit registration but maybe increased fire rate/dmg which made it kill to fast. now they more than halved the damage this is the sequence of events seli
