Aye, it's one of the changes I was hesitant to make, but unfortunately the controller is absolutely rammed and something had to give to make Dash more consistent across all weapons and sights. Still plenty of options for sights to avoid FP if you don't want to use it though, and I can adjust values on the sight bonuses around this if there's a major blowback about it

No it was that if you dashed and immediately jumped you could ADS and shoot while moving at faster-than-Roadrunner speeds. We needed to make sure gunplay remained in a certain threshold for movement to keep things consistent

Here's the thing, Jetpack Dash puts you in the air when you use it, if you can then jump in the air when your feet aren't on the ground, that to me is a bug that needs killing. This isn't the end of the world, and more movement mechanics will surely come down the pipe at some point, but we can't build for the future if the past is on shaky ground.

My initial impressions is I absolutely hate the way the game feels right now. I really hope I'll change my opinion the more I play but it feels like a completely different game. Jetpack animation is slow, dash and jumping was part of my movement that's gone, all my favorite guns im forced to first person view, the shotgun feels horrendous, aim assist is nerfed which is fine, but need to relearn muscle memory now. It feels very off. Also the camera is up the butt of my character now by default
