for awhile maybe. There gotta be rewards for ranked but prob just be badges and silly stuff that doesnt matter. If they forget they need to do monthly resets so people have to keep grinding then eternal leaderboard means nothing. Whoever plays most stays up top, Its just gonna trickle back off. The incentive loop for streamers doesnt translate to players. At this point players need incentive. Ranked and Blizzard mode sounds fun but people are strugglin in real life out here. The online life/stream dream is lost for the moment. Something innovative gotta give people some hope.

People that stacked points all season can get robbed by people no lifing it on an extension.
Imagine you work 9 to 5 (or more) and you put in 2 or 3 hours every day and do everything right and then they extend and you lose your spot because of it.

If you want to extended the battlepass by a few days thats one thing but leaderboard duration should be set in stone.
Not that I care about 1 number off really but 2x last season i would have had #9 I made it to the end of the 60 days at #9 and then even the first extension they did and then on the 2nd extension lost my spot I still got #10 but I had to stay away for multiple days in a row just to keep that.
