If you're getting stuttering or graphical issues after an update, the first easy thing to try is clear the shader caches. These steps are for Nvidia users.

1 . Clear games old/current shaders
.In File Explorer, type %localappdata% in the address bar and press Enter and navigate to \Local\G01\Saved (or Go to this folder: [drive game is saved on]\users[your user name]\AppData\Local\G01\Saved) - may need to click view in user folder and select show hidden for appdata to appear.

Find the file ending in "SM6.upipelinecache" (or SM5 if you're running dx11).
Delete this file. (this will force your game to recompile new shaders when launched).
side note on that: If you don't restart your pc after closing the game for the first time after it compiles shaders, it will make you recompile them fully again.

2. clear DX and Nvidia Caches.
   Disable shader cache in Nvidia Control Panel:
   Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking your desktop.
   Go to Manage 3D settings > Global Settings.
   Scroll down to Shader Cache and set it to Disabled. Click Apply.
   Restart PC
   Delete nvidia cache files:
   In File Explorer, type %localappdata% in the address bar and press Enter.
   Navigate to the NVIDIA and delete the contents of the DXCache and GLCache folders.
   Use Disk Cleanup:
   Search for and open Disk Cleanup from the Start Menu.
   Click Clean up system files and make sure only DirectX Shader Cache is checked.
   Click OK, then Delete Files.
   Re-enable shader cache:
   Go back to the NVIDIA Control Panel and set Shader Cache back to Driver Default or a specified size (e.g., 10 GB).
   Restart your PC.

Upon starting the game, it may run slower at first: 1. it will recompile the game shaders, but 2. your GPU/DX shaders are rebuilding too for the first few minutes.

outside of that, I think a lot of the stuttering issues are related to the 999ms server requirements and their downgraded azure/playfab/etc servers and how poorly they (and their plugins) handle user networks, dns, etc. If I pull up software, i can literally watch the 10+ ports the game uses throw errors every second; then my system resolves it, error, resolve, error. And that's on a 2.5GB connection with network managing software running. Without that software, or a few others I've tested, I'd get over 1000 game log errors in each log related to network errors.

I agree with this but perceptions matter alot. and the widespread perception is that the game is full of cheaters and I think a big part of this is because of several things.

1. no killcams
2. killfeed that screams by so fast you can't see it
3. the whole send a clip method with no kind of ai/auto flagging.

just these things give better perceptions and instill confidence even if they don't 100% fix the problem which is a given. even if they don't actually fix it at all its the public perception and first impressions that make or break the game.
