I am not a huge fan of the whole battle royale mode. i was doing some research on it and it turns out that one of the biggest reasons this elimination style game mode like BR or our ER is so popular with devs is because its easier on the servers and cheaper to run.

A lesson in this is not to mess with main game mode. Do modifiers in whatever other modes. OTG game is now like a brand that does not know its core and changes values at will.

Can you imagine BF, COD or Valorant doing a shotgun only mode to their MAIN game?

Community led modifiers on private servers is another thing and should be encouraged. Because they arise from want.

I feel like jumping out of the way with some sort of leg mod would help

bouncebomber. its hard to escape because of the emp pulse every .5 seconds it breaks for a split second and you can escape but hard if people spam them. its currently the most OP limb in the game.

if you have a leap saved you can leap if you repeatedly hit the l1 r1 at the same time and get lucky and hit a pulse before you die.

and somehow you can use the paralyzer to get out of it but I haven't quite figured that one out tbh.

that's the ripper. again you have to repeatedly mash whatever you are using to escape because of the EMP effect.

hookshot actually seems to be good at getting out of it as it is mechanical and is not affected by the pulse.

for now just know there is a steep learning curve. don't get discouraged. I started late about 3-4 months ago and now own 99.8% of the items in the game and am on 2 leaderboards.

also know that the vast majority of the special edition weapons can be out built by a custom purple weapon. escpially with adaptive kits.

market is kind of crazy right now (especially on console) buy what you need to and save what you can.
