Once again im not askin people to play differently. Just be considerate of a couple simple ideas as someone who is highly skilled at the game and wants it to succeed and continue to exist. NEVER steal a loadout. Certainly chal people, kill people, make them drop their loadouts tactically. Just dont steal it directly. Dont triple stack Hack Grey Hexes from noobs just trying to get a hair style or a gun attachment. You know game play experience ruining stuff. Its fine to fight and kill them but just TINY things that make people instantly not want to come back is what Im talking about. Ive talked to MANY people that just leave after this stuff happens to them.

I hate to say it but you are right: this game has had no real SBMM implemented and no Ranked playlist (despite having leaderboards and for-money tournaments) and the playerbase has just had to deal with it.

I remember a couple months back I tried to get a friend to play with me and on his 2nd or 3rd game ever, I watched him get beamed out of the air by Whataweek.

There’s no reason for him to be in the same lobby as a player of that skill level. Hell, I think I have a 1.7 or 1.8 KD… I shouldn’t even be made to fight in those lobbies.

The failure of player retention and not making the game overtly hostile to new players is entirely the fault of the devs, and people need to stop getting butthurt at the sweaty clanners for not pulling their punches.

The servers are overloaded believe it or not it's just that there clearly are not enough of them. Probably because almost no one pays for pro anymore because they had the great idea of giving BP items away to everyone and letting everyone sell for free.

I've never lagged once since like Sept. 2024 although I have 1Gbit fiber and less than 50ms ping on Copper also 80ms ping on CBS and 140 on Firefly, all of which I play with no lag spikes nor dropped packets even through my VPN

I paid once for pro then renewed with the gun. Ngl they should have made it where they you could cash out with the gun tokens but they get a 10-15% fee and a withdrawal minimum. They would have made more money from that than the actual pro pass.

PC, nasa has an internet speed of like 90gbs a second. But still I can run majority of games that would lag if you have under a 1 gb speed. But OTG doesn’t need a 1gb speed to run it takes like 250-360 mbs to run the game smoothly so it shouldn’t be lagging as bad as it is. I do feel like devs swapped out their server providers or something

Server clusters were altered a few months ago. I've not see any ping or packet dropped since. There has been bad optimizations causing local lag on console's and lower framerates on PC since a few updates ago though.
