I have watched a lot of rollers hitting not even body shots and they are hitting headies… even today I seen a player drop somebody’s legs and on the same shot, downed them via headshot.. seems sus af but with how hard aa is going it’s still hard to judge…

It was a unique mechanic that was very appealing and further established OTG as doing things differently. It’s not like you can’t balance an automatic or even lack of reload mechanics. Quake is one example where it compliments the core mechanics very well.

all it did was lower the quality of graphics and decrease the intensity of level streaming on the cpu (which was originally too aggressive and caused issues for laptop/lowspec users so I updated it shortly after)

It doesn’t do anything else, and the only advantage you could expect outside of the game running smoother is the lack of shadows. The advantage from a lack of shadows is often misunderstood. In some situations yes you may see someone easier without shadows, however it’s often harden to spot people at range, especially whilst flying, without shadows.

And I included instructions for users to add shadows back. Those shadows were better optimised and less jarring than the vanilla games version.

Note: config doesn’t work anymore to anyone who doesn’t know

I’d like to see PC low settings with it shadows come to console (with some further optimisations for both platforms). However that might not be permissible depending on Sony and Microsoft’s ToC. They may not allow a game to operate on their platform with a visual representation they consider reflects poorly on the capabilities of their consoles.

Who knows what limitations Sony/Microsoft enforce on developers and hoops they have to jump through. What we do know is the limitations are plentiful and drastically impact game design, update frequency, crossplay and cross progression and other healthy player oriented systems.

This game is trash....sorry but it is doomed...The Sydney Server being delisted is just a sign of things to come, came back for a few quick games and its the same as it was months ago. Then CPU temp fixed with AIO. Last thing I figured was my power supply since it was a 600w. Replaced it with an 800w today, but still happening.

In BIOS disable XMP.

Test and see if it still happens, if so, you should reseat your RAM sticks. One or both could be incorrectly installed. Make sure they’re snugly seated and the side clips are locked.
If it’s still happening one stick might be bad the other is ok, so you could test them individually too.

If that doesn’t fix it might be worth resetting BIOS settings to default (you can save a profile to restore later)

FPS is strangely low too, which makes me think only one ram stick is installed or the PSU cables to the GPU aren’t set up right. Might have accidentally used a splitter or only one cable where two was needed. Not sure tbh.

This is AMD system. XMP shouldnt be on by default. DOCP to stick ratings. Undervolt CPU by -25 for all cores and be done with getting best performance out of the CPU. Can squeeze little by overclocking ram but not worth it for gaming.

Undervolt also GPU some to get longer stable clocks. Lots of guides for that.

I think why new players are so frustrated is because players with 300 fps can disable shadows and see everything and everyone all the way across the map. This gives a huge advantage where on console even from 100m it's so pixelated and shadowy you can't see anything.

They need to just work on balancing bugs duo or solos is nice and ranked is nice but they need to make sure not so many cheaters are on during ranked monitoring needs to be a lot better
