That was only briefly when you had to jump through several hoops to even get the game on xbox through the insider program. Many people couldnt even download the game even if they knew how to. Then BO6 released and briefly tanked the playerbase. Xbox was completely fine and had a healthy playerbase. No need for crossplay.

Yes, it definitely needs working on. If it was a quick switch to pistol, then I would be running limb accelerator backpack instead of soldier. Not being able to use it comfortably, affects your whole play style.

Its a melee debuffer that had some movement utility it never should have and it became a focus for the utility not the point of the limb. The fact people dont care for the punch but want to zoom out of LOS means we just need a new limb imo

Like @sweet sigil mentioned, this doesn’t need to be some massive tournament or cost millions of real dollars. You could leverage the community itself — basically for free — to drive hype by rewarding them with those limited shiny items. It’s a low-cost, high-impact way to boost visibility.
