Both with relevant attachments Stock Kestrel Velocity is 99,225 (that adaptive barrel is 20%) and Proton is still the king with 106,000 @waxen flax ngl bro after todays changes Ninja Kestrel 97200 is the go to. You are right Proton might be due a buff its range falloff sharp as hell which takes away from its bullet speed making it a 6 bullet kill at distance (4 head) even if its technically better for landing hits on mobile targets people likeley in cover. Range buff atleast and sway reduction you cant use the gun at its best without sway being stupidly high

i can tell you how ridiculously easy it is.
if you play with a mouse and your target is moving it's not easy to hit because you keeps missing your target but if you have aim assist you just need point the stick at the player and then you can press all the buttons you have without moving the camera or you can eat burito while it and your enemy will simply die so just change your setting

Yeah it's been a thorn in our side for months, several fixes didn't get the job done but we're trying something new soon. Basically the math for it is complicated due to the distance of the character from the crosshair. The further the character, the more difficult the math becomes apparently.

Well what I mean by it is situations like this: There are iron sights present, but they don't align and were intended mainly as artistic flair rather than measuring their metrics to make sure they fit properly. We also have different barrels across each weapon, each with their own flair, so it gets a lot more complicated at that point. We're trying to figure out a way to do it though, just no promises on any sort of timeline at this point I'm afraid

For example a well timed jump before landing that results into a nice bunny hop looks so much better than this new jetpack into sliding tech. It looks and feels so unnatural. Yeah that's the main issue, so I'll keep using the Ichnya as the example. It's light barrel has a lower profile than the default barrel, and the heavy barrel has a higher profile but no front iron-sight on the end of the barrel.

Both these things would need to be updated, which means new hard-surface art, re-rigging the weapon and re-skinning all of it's hand-painted skins (which may not be numerous but would need to be done).

And that's just one weapon with a marginal offset. There are others (like the Boomslang) which are far worse.

So the issue here is no single camera-mode could work with all 3 combinations of barrels, and if we went and stuck new pieces of geometry where needed it would work, but it could end up ruining the aesthetics of the weapon in addition to all the work that would be needed to make it work properly

Even the top rail would block your view too, so then the back-sight would need raising too, the list goes on and on, and that's just one weapon out of 24

There may be a solution to have a camera position that aligns the camera and then we keep the crosshair as an aiming point and you'd get a sort of Doom-esque camera position and feeling, but I'm a bit skeptical that would feel good or look good

Another idea might be to create a new attachment of a sort of hybrid iron-sight that fits on the rail and just aligns like that. We've got multiple ideas, we just have to explore them

I was about to regret my unsub of my pro sub who end in a few days .. well my little session of today ensured me , it was a good decision.
They just dig more deeply the hole between legit and unlegit ( seriously , i really hope you bend on a detection system , players who can fire auto weapons like M4 executor in a straight line without any recoil are obviously not legit at all , and god there was a lot in my last lobby, i renamed it "scripted paradise" XD ) and the decision to turn drum magazines to a so less amount of bullets ( 42 ... 42 when there was 64 before , L O L ) is the most stpd i've ever seen in a game.
Anybody hates when you force them to change their equipment, it's a fact.
Another trash update , when there was SO MANY other points to review before , starting from movements bugs , to a review of this total impossibility to escape any player who don't started the game yesterday. ( i include me in it , it's not normal i can down anybody who try an escape by just following him and dropping him a few salads of bullets in his back from far , in airs , in distance )
The sad irony of my last BP who is about a mocking "anticheat" team who taste almost like a spit on the face of players who complain about obvious undetected "advantages" some players have , gives a strange ++ on all this.
PLUS the solo mode still lost on the void , but still no penalities for toxics early leavers in trio ... it start to be too much.
So much potential ruined update after update ... it's really sad , this will not help the game to come back in a more healthy situation for sure.
Hoping they will focus more on real problems in futures updates , we will see ... but more updates comes , more my doubt is big. ( oh and the "PAY 79,99€ for 1300 GUNZ" start screen we have now in console before being able to launch the game ... well maybe not the best move to do ^^' )

Haha I didn't see the last action you shared, however I was able to test the last update despite the disconnection errors I manage to manage the movements quite well despite the fact that the character always continues to climb the obstacles automatically, the aim assist is still present, but I share with you the score of my last game I find that I'm doing really well

nah it was one of my teammates , a real player , but totally fresh , clearly not handling the game ( his movements was ... well weird at least , clearly moves of a complete beginner ) with stock / base clothing only beard and hair changes , but was able to give HS all along the play strangely , and clearly on the team killcam this kid had no recoil at all, even after recovering my M4 executor... LOL
after maybe it's a fresh growing star instead of a "advantaged" player ... who knows XD

iwould also suggest that the pattern for weapons is not unidirectional but it is possible to change the direction of the track by switching the arm. It’s not my game but someone could try it because not everyone is left-handed you know

frankly , i strongly think it was a script user , maybe something else for head glue magic shots , but 99,99% sure he had something like a mouse who allow no recoil scripts , when you see side on side him and the other teamate firing with auto weapons it was obvious there was a correction of the trajectory. and i highly doubt a player who can't hold basis movements , looks like a fresh player , even try to extract a hex when he pass near the hextractor but without any hex on him , can hold a so perfect aiming and shot / recoil correction so early. And there is already new scripts settings for this new update lol just do a quick search about it , it's easy to find. ( what push me more to think it was one of them )
And it was one of my teammates , so it was cleary on my advantage , no frustration or anything else of the same kind , i was having a clear unfair advantage in my team XD
And i know how Doughy play , he is a good player , seeing him downed so fast by a such beginner , more when it was not only on him but on any opponent who crossed his path ( of my teammate ) , it add more obvious clues.
But this is the scourge of actual PvP FPS games , very hard to detect , sometimes on the edge of allowed and non allowed stuff , can look legit if well done , and clearly unlegit when they abuse of it , and the only way to detect it is on the long time playing .. ( and even if the player do it well with moderation on it , he can pass under the radar by forcing some bad shots to hide he can fire auto without any recoil ^^' )
I know a lot of dev studios are working on solutions like AI to detect more easily theses players ( i don't even know if we can call them "cheaters" , see how it's on the fog on this A T M ) , i just hope this will not become the new "normal" way to play for a big part of the players who don't bet on the skill and training.
And now there is very impressively effective gear and scripts for this, before it wasn't so effective.
