Although I seem to have missed last night's lively discussion, I now want to add a comment to this debate:

The strong never complain about the overall environment, because they are the ones who disrupt it.

To be honest, personally, I don't find it exciting to write thousands of lines of JSON files to create a proconfig bot nowadays.
I even think a simple bot that can create "breaking news" from any message is quite interesting.
But inevitably, this kind of bot is seen as "inferior, just a simple prompt-based non-proconfig robot" in the eyes of the team and older generation creators.
To be frank, the ultimate definition of an "excellent bot" is still - one that solves real needs and has many users, not with whether it use prompt or proconfig.

It's like many product apps; founders all think their products are great, but in the end, only those that fit market needs and have users will survive.

In the previous badge mode, most proconfig bots were actually solving a pseudo-need: fake users needing some "excellent bots" defined by the team to earn points.

Even many creators (including myself) were reverse-trained by this fake user demand. We weren't creating excellent bots; we were just trying our best to cater to the team's "excellent" standards to create bots suitable for fake users to earn points.

Now, only truly useful bots will be used by users. After the collapse of the previous fake user demand, creators need to transform their previously trained mindset as much as possible.

The current AIpp is a change from the previous sign-in and user acquisition methods. The current AIpp mode is actually similar to novel monthly ticket rankings or Twitter trending lists. Authors can pay to boost rankings for exposure, or they can get spontaneous community support with genuinely excellent bots.

This is why Kiko's bot could quickly surpass the 100-share presale period, and why Trador could quickly top the rankings.

In fact, the rewards creators can get on the platform haven't decreased. Other users using your bot can still generate points for you. Even after launching excellent bots, you can immediately earn actual BNB fees through AIpp. The current dilemma is that after the platform abandoned the previous fake users, many original creators can't accept the significant reduction in their point income.

Why was the previous creative atmosphere good? Because fake users were using bots on the platform, propping up a false prosperity in the community. This led too many creators to believe that learning proconfig and writing more lines of JSON equated to creating excellent bots.

But in fact, a creator's creativity is secondary; marketing and promotion are most important. Creators who can't market their bots quickly faded into obscurity before and after the revision, which is inevitable.

Of course, I couldn't adapt either, so I gave up on proconfig and switched to casually creating a couple of bots for fun, then turned to researching AIpp data analysis and looking for strategies to trade AIpp.

Finally, in Poe and GPT stores, tool-type bots have far greater usage than other bots. Only tools that can solve specific needs will have usage and be considered excellent bots.

Bots that users spontaneously come to use are excellent bots, regardless of whether they have prompts or proconfig.

At the most extreme point, ChatGPT Plus is actually an excellent bot too.

The assistant I'm using the most is still the clean Claude and clean OpenAI models that I use elsewhere so youre not wrong.

As for the other things; it's sort of been said already many times by multiple users. They're just lost in time really.

At most I remember snippets, and you can probably find it by using the discord search thing.

To be honest it's sort of sad lewl, this seems to be the trend on most AI spaces.

I guess this is what happens when there's a big disconnect between the developers and the creators; and I know this since I have developer friends whom would just shrug of any created related topics I ask; although after trying a bit of developing stuff myself I sort of get it so I get the point of view.

I think they released gpt-4o-mini recently which supports vision and tools too and is way cheaper than gpt-3.5-turbo.

Personally I use a bunch of Anthropic models than OpenAIs though but I get the appeal lewl. Both models can do the same thing though since they're all multimodal. (Has vision support, etc.)

I used an empty system prompt, and cut off my prefill in the middle of it. You can see how GPT treats it and how Claude treats it. That's why it may seem that prefill actually does something on GPT, but in reality it just puts the prefill into GPT's memory as a separate message

if you use an llm for something that isn't generating a dialogue reply for the character (like the stat calculation or keyword generation), and needs to be jailbroken, just use claude haiku, it's 1 energy and is smart enough for most tasks

other than that, the bot has a good idea and a lot of potential, but needs to be polished quite a lot if you want it to become a good app

And yeah, it's really nice to see the channel active again. I hope when the bot I am working on gets the core gameplay completed, people will also try it and leave feedback

I've been working on my bot, "Idol Manager", for quite some time. So far, I have completed the main gameplay loop, and I wanted to get some feedback from all of you. I will appreciate feedback about anything, economy balancing, bugs, suggestions, etc.

1. Tutorial, since it's a bit too long, but at the same time I think it's needed.
2. LLM generated lists, since the generations are not always correct.
3. The names for the idols, since currently I am letting AI generate the names, and the generated names are... Well... The same... So I will have to add a name list for a random generation.

The only things that aren't completed in the bot is:

1. Story scenes
2. Endings
3. Random events at the end of the day

Please be completely truthful when giving feedback

I tested it by myself for about... An hour or so? So there still might be some bugs that I have missed

The bot includes up to 16 free spaces for bots, each can be filled with a name, character prompt, intro message, and previous memory. You can freely switch between characters, each character having their memory saved, so you can easily hop back to chatting when you want. You can also transfer all the bot info after clearing the memory, by saving all the prompts.

This would allow users to save the bot privately or even publish it if want to. But I don't know how to modify and render entire code without any problems for now, maybe sometime later I could test that out.

An unsuccessful attempt to realize my idea. But I gained a new experience) The idea was to generate a prompt through GPT4o to create a blank in the form of a picture with a girl on the shore of a large water, which will symbolize a MyShell, a beautiful sky in the background, a bridge on the left pointing to a large road ahead, and a store on the right, that is, our stop. Then, using AnimageXL and Stable Diffusion 3, I spent a lot of time generating the image. Animage gave me much more interesting results, but Stable Diffusion had a much better match to the prompt. Next, my favorite bots (AnimePix and Photo Enhancer) added more details and form a ready-made ground (of course, later you need to cut out all the unnecessary elements in Photoshop, which is not very convenient). One of the interesting things that I miss in Myshell is the so-called photo expander(AI Expand widget). I had to google for one to keep the size. And then there's photoshop. My skills are weak, so it didn't turn out great.

GPT 4o1 is going to release soon although I worry about how it may be jailbroken.

It apparently has an 88% failure rate due to them actually adding reasoning into the model rather than just regurgitating or calculating text.

Although if we could maybe use a combination of the prefill exploit where in GPT it is done as a previous message unlike in Claude imagine the scenarios we could make.

Though personally I'm more interested in Opus 3.5 since it would ironically be easier to jailbreak once it's released as a competitor.

I was able to write some basic bots using the class mode, but I got stuck when it came to proconfig.

Fortunately, I recently met a creator willing to collaborate on proconfig with me.

He has a coding background but didn’t initially have any ideas for bots, so we ended up working together on several bots, all of which turned out quite well.

Previously it was 16 different memories which forstly turns into "current memory" and gets used in the roleplay before saving it back. Now it's just the 16 memories getting used and changed based on the set bot value

I know you're just saying what you think it is and heard, so I'm not arguing with you, but I think this is not very encouraging to individual devs

Distributing fees by itself wouldn't be a problem, since those fees come from other people's crypto/bnb

it's not like they're created out of thin air, people were basically giving their crypto to the creator, indirectly, so it's not abuseable

if someone for example makes a trash bot to abuse the system and has his friends/multi accounts buy it, it's not like he'll gain anything directly by having fees shared: the crypto of his other accounts will lower due to fees, and he'll gain on main. It's like he'd transfer the crypto, that's not cheating or exploitable.

However, consider an alternative scenario: What if creators decided to hold their AIpps long-term and reinvest their creator fee profit-sharing rewards into buying more shares?
(You can see Xiongmu said he would not sell any, then his Aipp got pumped to 0.08 BNB per share)
This could create a positive cycle, might be similar to how companies buying back stocks incentivize investors.

What if creators decided to hold their AIpps long-term and reinvest their creator fee profit-sharing rewards into buying more shares?
What profits and rewards does creator currently earn from holding? He isn't getting any fees, and any points he earns get exchanged for shell coins with no value until tge.

The creator incentive program? Wasn't it supposed to be distributed for new or active creators? I thought it didn't have anything to do with AIpps and web3 stuff.

Whatever it is, no one knows the requirements for getting those incentives, no one knows how much those incentives are going to be, no one knows when they are getting distributed. It doesn't really promise anything to creators when we know so little about it.

All transaction fees collected on the AIpp Store will be distributed to this program, and a portion will still go to active creators, not just new ones. The criteria for active creators might be based on community engagement, contribution or AIpp performance, among other factors. As for the launch time, I really can't disclose that, sorry.

Also, I'm not here today to make any promises to creators. I just noticed that XiongMu recently succeeded in attracting sponsors for his AIpp in the community, so I thought maybe we could look at the current AIpp Store from a different perspective.
Although many of its mechanisms and features aren't perfect, so far we've managed to successfully distribute tokens and point to active community users and creators, rather than to cheaters producing low-quality UGC.

what is stopping myshell from introducing a 2% fee system instead? People still traded quite a lot with 5%

for people with creator passes, 1% of the fees go straight to them, while the other 1% go to creator incentive program/myshell. this would reward creators who actually have made a functional bot with the trading fees.

for people without creator passes, all 2% go straight to the incentive program/myshell, since 99.999% of aipps made by people with creator passes have 0 time and effort put in them.

rewarding both active and new creators who have multiple successful aipps with funds from the incentive program won't really motivate them to hold and trade or whatever the team wants to achieve with this. the creators themselves are unaware of how the program works and have no idea if they will receive anything.

The method you mentioned is indeed the most straightforward, but it involves many technical challenges.
First of all, designing products through blockchain comes with numerous security considerations and technical hurdles that need to be overcome.
It's not that the product team deliberately chooses not to do something or hasn't thought it through. Rather, some features are truly impossible to implement, or they come with problems that are much more complex than they might seem at first glance.
For example, determining whether the creator of an AIpp holds a Pass at the time of purchase is a product design that could potentially have many technical issues and costs.
We can't be irresponsible and casually design such a mechanism. So please trust that we've considered all the outcomes and chosen a solution that's relatively acceptable.

This feature has been pending past Months now and everytime I hear its about to release its either forgotten or postponed to Oblivion. I mean the iOS app already has this why not the Website too at this point.
