To jailbreak GPT 4 you'll have to actually search for a well written guide since not only it is complicated on your end, but OpenAi itself made many "walls" to prevent jailbreaking it.
Unless necessary, I wouldn't try to jailbreak GPT 4 due to how complicated it can be sometimes (unless you use exploits you might need up to 500 tokens just to jailbreak it).

You should try normal roleplays with Claude in the future then attempt to JB it, since it's very difficult. You'll see the dialogue is miles apart from GPT even with 4.

Sharing something about the knowledge base! I think it might be a pity if this is only shared in private chat XD

It's about how the knowledge base works:
When the user inputs a sentence, something like "do you know about harry potter?"
After that our backend would send this message to the knowledge base module, too, which would compare the similarity of your question and the whole contents in the gitbook, looking for the most relevant piece.
So the most relevant info (here let's say the intoduction of Harry Potter) would be sent to the bot for his reference so he can reply based on the given information.
Based on this~I think the knowledge base could be used as a glossary~by which you can enrich the whole worldview of your RPG game(like many explanations of the items, ppl, holidays or so), but may not be used as a novel narrator(by which you may want to see the bot leads you through the whole journey of your novel, that's a bit hard)

Those values are only for example. I use such high frequency penalty due to the bot sticking too much to the response examples I gave to it, so, in case your bot is too stuck on its 'parameters', more penalty will lead to that bit of freedom it needs to explore its writting style rather than repeating what you input it to follow.

Sometimes users forget that you don't need a know it all magic tool to do a specific task. A tool capable of everything is not only hard to develop but also expensive to host and execute. That's why Pygmalion and it's variants so far have so much support - they're capable of outrunning GPT as Chatbots.
