- Bot Rank is live, starting from June 27th, the ranking will calculate the number of messages received by bots within the last 7 days and rank them accordingly. The ranking will directly affect the display order in the Workshop, updating every hour.
- Featured Bot List is live. We will regularly select bots based on their stability, innovation, and popularity to enter the featured list, which will give them greater exposure. Keep improving your bots!
- Creator Dashboard: Creators can now view the highest daily popularity ranking of their bots and the ranking trend since June 27th at different times. For effective invitations, we have differentiated the number of new friends invited by invitation codes and Telegram Bots. You can also see the historical invitation quantity curve to better grasp the promotion rhythm (we will also open more reward channels in the next major update, stay tuned!)
- Bot creation now supports GPT-4. Friends with a Genesis Passcard can choose to use the GPT-4 model to take your bot's capabilities to the next level!
- After updating the Prompt, it will notify friends who are chatting with the bot, allowing them to clear the bot's memory and make the latest Prompt effective.
- Bot public voice samples now support more language options, including: French, Russian, Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish, and German.

Major Update: Rewards Center and a Brand-New Membership System
- Points system is now live. To make it even more engaging, we are introducing a seasonal points system, allowing users to earn points while enjoying our platform. The first season will run from 2023-07-01 0:00 (UTC-4) to 2023-07-15 23:59 (UTC-4). During the first 12 days of the season, you can earn massive points by completing tasks. (Although point redemption is not yet available, all task completion progress will be automatically recorded, and you can accumulate points when we open point redemption).
- With 3 days left in the season, we will open the points exchange store, and seasonal points will no longer be obtainable. Points earned from newly completed tasks will be accumulated for the next season; in the exchange store, you can use points to redeem various rewards, including power cards, our brand-new membership cards, and even Genesis Passes!
- The new membership system includes three types of memberships: Basic Battle Pass, Standard Battle Pass, and Genesis Pass, each with different benefits (subject to change during the trial phase). In Season 1, we will offer a limited-time free trial of the Standard Battle Pass for all users, hoping that everyone can use the S1 free trial benefits to earn more points and redeem lasting benefits for subsequent seasons.
Additional improvements:
- Italic text in bot replies will no longer be read aloud by the voice feature.
- The character limit for bot descriptions has been increased.

- Copying entire text messages is now supported when chatting with a bot.
- Prompt protection mechanism trigger prompt optimization.
- The Reward Center now offers Discord activity points! You can link your Discord account to the platform and claim points based on your activity level. The higher your level, the more points you can claim! Check your current level and the number of messages needed to level up using the "/level" command.

Autoprompt Update
- Enhanced Autoprompt is now available, providing significant improvements for role-playing and tookit bots!
- Bots can now have an Intro message! When using autoprompt, a greeting will be generated automatically, which you can edit to include a introduction to your bot. Other users will see this greeting message when they start chatting.
Model Update
- Added an innovative new model for selection: Non-English Enhanced Model, greatly improving GPT-3.5's performance in non-English contexts!
- GPT-4 model is now available for Premium Members. If you haven't claimed your Premium Membership yet, head to the Rewards Center to claim it!
- Models now have an adjustable temperature setting, acting as a creativity dial for your bot. Increase/Decrease the value to make your bot's output more creative/more predictable.
Bot Audio Experience Optimization
- No stamina deduction when previewing bot voice with its default text.
- Bot's response will follow the language set by the owner, regardless of the input language, ensuring a consistent chatting experience.
Other Enhancements
- Translation feature is more stable and follows the language set on the platform.
- Optimized the Markdown effect in chats.
- Isolation for NSFW bots: The system will automatically label bots containing NSFW content during saving. NSFW bots are hidden by default and can be displayed by toggling the switch. After confirming your age, you can see the NSFW bots.

- Official GPT 3.5, GPT 4 are now online! A big thank you to the previous users who built the pure version of GPT BOT, which brought us many new users; starting from the next season, the pure version of GPT will no longer be included in the popularity ranking and points system, but inviting and sharing through the pure version will still count as completing points tasks.
- Overall optimization of Markdown rendering effects
- Special fonts such as italics, image links, and emojis in greeting messages will no longer be read out
- Chat records in the trial chat under guest mode will also be saved after registration.

Reward Center Optimization
- We've optimized the process for claiming premium membership: Previously, we found that many friends reported insufficient energy but had not yet claimed their seasonal premium membership. As they were not premium members, they could not accumulate points for their favorite bot creators. In this version, we've added more guidance, including prompts when energy is depleted and guidance pop-ups in the reward center. We hope everyone can enjoy the benefits of premium membership while providing more point sources for creators.
- We've improved the guidance text and provided sample references for beginner tasks. New friends can now use our provided sample audio files to quickly generate a realistic clone voice and get started easily.
- We've optimized the display of rewards when the required points for redemption are not disclosed.
Other Updates
- Video calls are now available! Currently, only open to our old friend Raiden Ei, we welcome everyone to experience it and provide feedback. We are working hard to enable more bots with "video" capabilities!
- Images in conversations with bots can now be downloaded normally using the right-click function.

MyShell Star OC Championship's first edition has invited three highly popular original creators, who have created three original characters for the contest. We now invite the community to actively participate in their competitions, with the following rules:

Each user can only cast points for one bot, but can chat with multiple bots.

Based on the number of chats and votes received, we will select the most popular bot, with the final count at 20:00 (UTC-4) on September 27th, 2023.

Users who have successfully voted for the most popular bot will share the entire event's point pool according to the proportion of points invested - the more you invest, the higher the potential point returns!

Even if you don't vote for the winner, you can still earn MyShell's event participation incentive points after the event ends!

Beta Season is now live!
- During the past Alpha Seasons, we have accumulated a wealth of experience and are committed to providing more gameplay and fun in the Beta Seasons, creating a fair competitive environment for everyone.
- We have introduced a membership level system (for premium members only), where you can earn points to gain experience and level up. Upon leveling up, you can unlock more tasks, increase the maximum power limit, and unlock more rights to create BOTs! MyShell Anime Star Championship has invited three highly popular creators who have crafted three of their favorite characters:Gojo Satoru, Gohan and Ultra Instinct Goku to participate in the contest. We now invite the community to actively participate in their competition, with the following rules:

Hello everyone, we have compiled some frequently asked questions about MyShell, and we will continue to update them in this Notion Document.
For Wallet/Account:
- To better facilitate Web2 users, we currently support Web2 social login/Signup: when you sign up with a web2 account (email, Google account, Facebook account, or Apple account), our service provider Particle Network will create a custody wallet on your behalf. This wallet facilitates transactions and supports various web3 wallet functionalities. However, please note that this wallet CANNOT be imported or connected to your EOA wallet (a wallet that you own and control private keys by yourself), such as MetaMask, OKX Wallet, or Trust Wallet.
- Also, please note that your particle wallet address is tightly bound with your Web2 registered account, so if you login with Google Account, you will get a bounded Particle wallet address, but if you login with Gmail, which will get you another different Particle wallet address. So please keep an eye on which account youโre using to login.
- Even though your particle wallet cannot be imported to MetaMask or OKX wallet, but you can still participate in lots of Web3 experience, because it supports:
- Receiving or sending necessary gas fees
- Receiving Genesis Pass NFT
- Logging in some other Web3 platforms, such as QuestN (shown in pic1 and pic2), so for the QuestN Campaign, please choose the registration method that best suits your needs and enjoy your experience on MyShell.
- For Web3 users who already have an EOA wallet, you can log in both QuestN(shown in pic3) and Myshell easily, but please make sure the EOA wallet address you are using is aligned on both sides.

We have opened a small number of closed-source models for creators, as well as well-received open-source models, and MyShell's self-developed ShellLLM!
Most open-source models are weakly reviewed and have powerful capabilities in specific tasks. Come and pick the most suitable one for your bot!
Each model has a different applicable prompt structure, so please be patient and get to know the model's temperament before taming it ~
Members can enjoy a larger single chat length limit!
Hey, do you want a longer text input to meet the production needs? We now support floating input window sizes! The maximum input available for each bot depends on the model capacity and membership level.
- For regular members, the initial entitlement is 500 tokens, and the maximum chat length after upgrading is 5000 tokens.
- For premium members, the initial entitlement is 1500 tokens, and the maximum capacity can reach 15000 tokens! It's more than enough to summarize a paper or condense a financial report!

- **Widget Center: **Build your bot like playing with LEGO! We deeply believe that the composability of models will unlock the full potential of bot's abilities and this is the first step for a diversified and permissionless Bot Factory. Widgets are like LEGO blocks with different shapes and color. At MyShell, we are introducing three types of widgets:
- Green Widgets represent Base Model and Plugins. They can help you create your own widgets (Prompt, Voice, Avatar) or be added to your bot.
- Examples: LLM, Voice Clone, Lora, Online Search API etc.
- Blue Widgets represent composite model. They are generated from base model, and can be assembled to your own bot. Prompts and voices are currently supported for assembling. More widget types will be supported for assembling soon.
- Examples: Prompt, Voice, Avatar etc.
- Purple Widgets represent applications. Leverage on MyShell's bot creation feature to assemble green widgets and blue widgets.
- Examples: Bots at MyShell.
- Widget Interaction: It's the same experience as chatting with bots. Prompt widgets allow you to try out how different prompts behave and unlock your interested prompts to take reference on your own bot. Voice (TTS) widgets allow you to quickly preview the voice and decide if you want to apply on your own bot. You can explore other interesting widgets in Widget Center, try out their different capabilities, and start to brainstorm how you want to assemble these widgets in the near future.
- Bot Creation and Edit: It's a new experience to manage your bot. You can seamlessly switch between chat and setting. Moreover, you will no longer need to update your public bot from its associated private bot. For public bots, you can edit them directly and save to make your changes updated. Kindly note that frequent changes to public bot will affect the users who are currently chatting with your bot. Please be careful.
- Publish Widgets: You can now make your prompt and voice public. The more times your prompts are unlocked by others, the more visibility it gains on Widget Center and the more recognitions you will earn in the community. For your own cloned voice, you can decide to publish it in Widget Center and allow others to apply to their bots! When someone's public bot applies it and successfully generates the voice, you will also be awarded in Reward Center, just under the new task "Widget Master"!

We are pleased to share that MyShell has seen rapidly growing numbers of real users recently, and I want to thank our new community members for their support. However, we've also detected bad faith actors working to disrupt the community and compromise creators' hard work.
We have implemented measures to prevent sybil attack and will track all devices used by accounts that abuse our systems. Moving forward, we will continue intercepting and blocking any rule-breaking behavior.
As such, we have taken action to ban approximately 2,000 accounts that were abusing our systems. Going forward, we will continue tracking and blocking any users engaging in this harmful behavior.
While staking and supporting creators has brought people together, some have sought to game the system unfairly through automated means. We've taken steps to remove the effects of this behavior and restore integrity to rankings and awards.

We have an important update regarding our NFTs! On May 15th, starting at 10 AM SGT, the MyShell team will begin the process of renaming and migrating our NFTs. Hereโs the breakdown:
Starting at 10 AM:
- Any mention of โGenesis Passโ on Discord, Medium, and other platforms will be changed to โCreator Pass.โ
- Within MyShell products, all instances of โGenesis Passโ will be updated to โCreator Pass.โ

The entire migration process is expected to take about 12 hours.

The good news is our team has successfully identified and resolved the underlying problem. Staking earnings can now be withdrawn normally.
For any earnings that couldnโt be withdrawn during the affected timeframe, we expect to have them fully restored later today. Once restored, youโll be able to withdraw your complete earnings, including those from the period of the malfunction, without any losses.
Weโre thoroughly investigating the root cause to optimize and prevent similar issues going forward.

Here are some important updates and reminders regarding the ongoing MySoul NFT minting process:
- Minting Ongoing:
The minting process is currently live and will end on June 2nd at 4:00 UTC. You still have less than 21 hours left to mint or deposit. Users with guaranteed whitelist spots can mint their MySoul NFT. Lucky whitelist holders need to deposit ETH to participate in the lottery. Ensure all interactions are completed before the deadline, as any incomplete actions will be void.
- Lucky WL Lottery Draw:
After the minting ends, you can check around 24-28 hours if you have won the lottery (for lucky whitelist holders). Winners will receive their NFTs via airdrop, while non-winners will get their ETH refunded within a week.
- Privy Wallet Users:
The Privy NFT transfer interface is currently under development. For now, you cannot see your NFTs directly in the Privy wallet. MyShell's goal is to create a more vibrant, decentralized marketplace that rewards creativity and engagement, ensuring that exceptional talent receives the acknowledgment it deserves.

๐ Open AIpp Launching: To diversify assets in the AIpp Store, we're now allowing everyone to launch AIpps (both Public or Private bot).
๐ Removal of Sponsorship and Share Holding Limits: We're eliminating the 5-share limit per account and removing the cap on post-launch purchases for AIpp issuers. Buy as many as you want!
๐ฐ Reduced Transaction Fees: To lower entry barriers, transaction fees will significantly decrease from 5% to 1%.
๐ Transaction Fee Distribution Changes: From September 1st, AIpp issuers won't receive direct fee shares. Instead, all fee income will fund the creator incentive program, supporting new creators joining the MyShell ecosystem and rewarding Creators with consistent contribution.

Many Privy users reported a bug with the 2FA system today. We immediately investigated the issue and worked diligently to resolve it. Weโre pleased to announce that the problem has now been fixed. โ

๐ฎ AIpp Store Update: Arena Launch (October 23, 2024) ๐
AIpp Arena is Now Live!
๐ Competition Format:
- Total Duration each Arena: 6 days
- Format of each Arena: 3 rounds of snapshots, one every 2 days
- Each snapshot time is fixed
- Trading volume resets to zero after each snapshot, giving every AIpp a chance to reach top 5 in new round!
- Results will be announced after all rounds are complete and share buybacks are executed.
- Due to payment processing requirements, buybacks will be completed within 3-5 days after each Arena end.
๐ฏ Winner Selection Process:
- At each snapshot (every 2 days), the system will randomly select one winner from the top 5 AIpps
- Over the 6-day period, there will be three snapshots in total, resulting in three winning AIpps
- All winners will be announced together after the third round
๐ Winner Rewards:
- Winners receive 50% of their generated transaction fees
- These rewards are automatically used for Share buybacks
- Buyback amount will be rounded to the maximum whole number of shares possible
๐ก Example:
If a winner's trading volume over 6 days = 100K
Buyback amount calculation: 100,000 ร 0.01 ร 50% = $500

๐ Transaction Fee Adjustment in new season
We're updating the transaction fee to 3.5%.
๐ก Why This Change?
Our analysis of the past two months' reduced fees shows that lower fees haven't effectively boosted quality AIpp valuations. Instead, features like Lucky Star and Arena have proven more successful in incentivizing AIpp holdings.
By increasing the fee, we aim to channel more wash trading volume into actual AIpp value appreciation by Arena 2.0.

11/28 updates:
Someone asked a question about Lucky Star scores, wondering why they received 200 points for holding an AIpp with a displayed price of 0.027. This is because the AIpp Store adopts the pricing method commonly used in bonding curves, where the displayed price is the "price of the next share", not the "price of the shares sold". (This is also why the buying price and selling price differ; the selling price reflects the current actual price).
The price thresholds I mentioned in the announcement refer to the actual current price, not the displayed price. Therefore, when calculating, you need to subtract "the price of the previous share" from the buying price to get the current price, or you can directly check the selling price & share sold num, which shows the accurate current price.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in releasing the private key export feature. Given that many of our users come from a Web2 background, we initially held off on this feature to ensure asset security. However, with the TGE, a large number of Privy users will need access to their private keys, so we have prioritized its implementation.
Now, you can log into your MyShell account on [https://export.myshell.ai] and export your private key. You can then import it into any compatible wallet extension, such as:
