no consumables — most consumables are just tarots; spectrals; better off as vouchers or jokers
and i dislike adding extra tarots or spectrals directly because it really clogs arcana and spectral packs
which ergo, no enhancements, editions, suits, or seals

the main feel of rofflatro is currently between Extra Credit and Paperback and that's kinda exactly where I like it
idk about the other devs though id like to hear more
the main issue with adding consumables without adding new packs is that you basically have to make spectrals
since tarots and planets are a complete set
vouchers rock they're just a guaranteed negative joker
and with spectrals you either make Immolate 2 or it basically never sees play
(this is a bit of an exaggeration)
i find blinds to be an interesting thing to add
it's important to test blind stuff though
blinds are interesting to add but i feel there's not much room
or at least significantly less than jokers/vouchers/etc.
i also want to throw in potential for rofflatro crossmod
crossmod is good you can add jokers without clogging your vanilla experience
which btw i feel we might be approaching

That was the only one I had tried in that run, but I've used it with other cards before and had no issues.
Okay, I just tried it with Hallucination again, Space Joker, Cavendish, and Reserved Parking. Only Cavendish worked.
Only other mod active was Debug Plus.
I'm definitely on the latest version from Github, too.
@supple yew this is because SMODS has updated its probability function
everything uses SMODS.pseudorandom_probability() now
using the in-game function makes it difficult for probability to change across mods
e.g. it allows for +1 probability effects to get sorted out iirc
but the way everyone was doing it was already kinda scuffed

DVD uses a custom context which gets patched into various vanilla joker files via a toml file.
Since SMODS has that function to roll for probabilities, I imagine that can just be hooked to call the custom context.

that's the only bit of code i can see that is related to the crash which is really odd since this is just a relatively normal and non-intrusive hook
seems to happen before any of the extra added code is run too

v is a boolean for whatever reason so when it tries to index in_pool the game shits itself

it’s interesting, I was able to reproduce the bug with a voucher skip so that is definitely part of it. however, I also used a mod to try disabling your new vouchers (banner is the mod name) and that did not prevent the crash

I could reproduce the Deck Stuffer crash from the latest Github commit's version, but only if the deck had no favorite cards (i.e. because the only favorite just got deleted). If there are any favorite cards, standard packs work fine for me.

@nocturne hare i found a bug with the high stake deck. when starting a new run the winning ante is set to 12 like normal but if you do a new run again (without losing i think) the winnin ante sets itself to 8 again and winning ante 8 counts as stake completion

I had the joker that gives an extra booster pack slot just for ur awareness. my guess is that the voucher that gives me favorite cards in the booster pack just crashes when the card has a seal or something (it was working before but not anymore

another little bug i found: when the "main channel" joker procs, it adds a new stat to all negative jokers called "Card Limit: X.XX area slots" (the x's are numbers). Unfortunately if you sell or get rid of any of these negatives you actually just permanently lost all of your joker slots
an example of the new stat
not sure if it's an intended feature, but the main channel joker also multiplies sell values
and for some reason it affects the mime even though its effect doesnt state a number. the description doesnt change
this is due to smods, not Rofflatro, unfortunately

for the main channel joker, do you hard code all of the changes to every joker or do you kinda just look for numbers in a jokers description and multiply the numbers
it might take a while but just hard coding the main channel's effect onto all applicable jokers would probably fix the issue

well i think the main big rock that you have with this mod is the favorite card system
and i suppose the vouchers seem to cause too much trouble for the gameplay that they add

im not gonna tell you how to design ur game, but i dont think the deck fixing vouchers (both tiers) make fixing the deck actually a whole lot better

if you wanted to keep the voucher, instead of having the "favorite card" system i would suggest just making it pick a random card from ur deck and just having that available in packs/shop
to elaborate, a system like this would make the voucher a lot less useful at the start, but as you fix ur deck the voucher would help you snowball into getting a lot of the same card

like if you naturally started making a ton of purple seals in ur deck the voucher would start having an increasing chance of adding those same purples to the shop/packs
it would select a random card from ur deck similarly to the idol to add to the shop/packs
as for the voucher that boosts collecting a lot of vouchers im not sure it adds a whole lot to the game
the tier 1 is pretty ok at giving you +mult at the start of the game but i doubt the tier 2 makes a difference in ante 39 runs (the only instance id assume it would have an effect since you need to collect blanks)
anyways aside from the crashing i enjoy the mod so ill occasionally just be playing and find stuff for you

Hi, as you can imagine this was setting the Ante to 12 every ante. Since I was using other mods that also increase the blind size, it was always returning to 12. I'm not a modder but decided to give it a try and I fixed it.
